JMJM: The media could not be loaded. While this is most definitely a terrific product to have if you are a survivalist or something like that it's just as good if you just want to have a pop of fruit any time of year, any weather, or on days you can't get out to the grocery store but need a last-minute fruity ingredient for salads, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, smoothies, cakes.... It's also really yummy to snack on right out of the can, as is. Would be useful for hiking, school lunches, camping or road trips.
When you open the can, your senses will be BLISSED OUT with these beautifully colored berries and the aroma of tangy sweet summer raspberries.
We have never purchased freeze dried canned products before, and this was a completely new experience. There are desiccant packs to keep the contents fresh and dry. The fruit settles in the can so there is room at the top. You do get a lot and it is a good value for the price. The product is as lovely and flavorful as we had hoped it would be.
