Michelle: This butter powder is fantastic. Tastes exactly like real butter. Which is a big deal to me since I hate margarine. Can't wait to use it for frying things like green tomatoes. Mike Haubert: Since the can was damaged on the bottom seam I don't know if the can I received had the normal flavor. I transferred it to a freezer bag and into the freezer it went. I tried it (1/2 cup dry mixed with 1.5 TBSP water) and chilled it. Came out like whipped butter but had a funky flavor. Didn't make me sick. I use it for baking and other cooking recipes. Very convenient.

Megan S. Hiking with a purpose: Ph so once u mix it up, it will not keep like regular butter will on a dish on the counter. It will grow fuzz in 1 to 2 days. It has a cheese like flavor with isn't bad at all, but it works perfect for any meals that have butter in the ingredients list, but as far as buttered toast or a blagel... only if u love cheeses 🧀.. but the alternative is those tiny packets u can swipe at convenience stores and restaurants,and they bust open too easily to take on a backpacking trip. They will ruin your food bag...
I highly recommend anything by the Auguson farms brand!!! Their dehydrated foods are amazing, all of them. It's the only brand I ordered for my summer long thru-hike of the buckeye trail (youtube: Megan s. Hiking with a purpose) which I ended up not able to afford to complete.

Cat Martin: So, I have "reconstituted" the butter wth water and it is spreadable and has a wonderful flavor, but if you put it on toast straight out of the toaster (nice and hot), this butter does NOT melt! I just wasn't expecting that! Now, I have put jam right over the butter on the toast for my breakfast and it's fine that way, but y'know, when you are expecting your butter to melt on toast, this won't do it for you! Again, the flavor it good - it is creamy and tastes like butter.

April: As I’ve written in other reviews amazing product but the company’s are making it very diffuclt for people to prepare for any Disaster I love using these for camping but for these types of things are no long feasible anymore I purchase for preparedness only now I do recommend these products but are very very expensive now

Ferdinand Demeyer: This is great in baking. Does not dissolve in fry pan (clumps) so not fry friendly. A bit granular as a butter spread no matter how long you mix it - but not too noticeable in a sandwich. Love it in baking - just great in pancake mix, biscuits, etc. A must in dry ingredient mixes for camping.
