The only reason for the 4 stars is the way they arrived. Looks like a dog got hold of them. No damage to the pumps though.

Bud O.: The unit is quiet and moves water well, but the most endearing feature for me; a quick click and twist to remove the motor from the base. This may not seem like a big deal, but in my boat, the bilge area is VERY tight to get into, and I needed to replace the bilge pump. As this T500 unit was in my new boat, I could simply twist the motor out and replace it into the pre-mounted base (connect wires as well). If I had to fully/traditionally replace that unit, I would had to removed gas lines, gas vent hoses and maybe a piece of the floor: it was a huge time saver. BTW, the replacement motor on Amazon is 10 dollars more than buying the entire kit....the motor is the same, save the money

day_tripper: The Attwood V450 I installed in my boat 28 years ago finally snapped a retainer that held it in place to its mount, and after digging through the multitude of options I bought this Attwood 4606-7. Installed easily with 3 #8 SS pan head wood screws and as best as I could test it works well.

Did need to upgrade the fuse from 2A to 3A as this pump draws more power than the old one, something to be aware of.

Cyluracornuta: This review is for the Attwood 4606-7 Tsunami T500 Bilge Pump, 500 GPH, 12-Volt, Barbed ¾-Inch Diameter Outlet, 29-Inch Wire purchased on 14 Oct 2022 for $19.82. I bought the pump because it was cheaper to purchase than the Bilge Pump Replacement Motor Cartridge. Attwood Tsunami Bilge Pump Replacement Motor Cartridges are interchangeable for all T500 Attwood Tsunami Bilge Pump models. I like this brand over some of the competitors as it draws slightly less power and is easy to open, replace and inspect for debri. The motor was used to replace one that burned up when it got jammed with seaweed and I failed to have a fuse in the circuit. The old pump had been in service for 7 years and had provided many years of good service.

49eternal: I adapted this bilge pump to replace the live well pump on my pontoon fishing boat.
Limited space on the existing bracket made for tricky positioning and fastening. The result was excellent!
