Dane: I used this as an anchor light (lit all night) on a sailboat and by the middle of the second night the batteries were dying and the light became very dim. It is very bright with fresh batteries - really too bright in my opinion I would rather it be less bright but burn longer.
No complaints otherwise - build quality seems good and it survived light rain without any problems.

Wendy Fraser: Bought these for my 16' fishing boat. Clamps hold very well and allow for several clamping positions. Easy to remove when it comes time to cover the boat. Lights are surprisingly bright considering three AAA batteries. Very convenient solution for a boat with no lights and no battery. Good price point. Highly recommend.

Drew: Needed some lights for my zodiac to take lobster fishing. The long pole one mounts on the transom well. The pole is pretty flimsy and has me worrying sometimes but it’s been out in pretty gnarly conditions and havnt moved. They’ve been drenched in saltwater and seem waterproof enough. Used them for about 6 hours a day on a couple different trips and havnt changed the battery. Seem to work well havnt had any long term use for them. The screws connecting the lights to the clamps started rusting from the saltwater. Make sure you rinse them off after using. I would buy again.
