I bought a few rolls of this to cover the bunks of a trailer for a pontoon boat. There was no padding on the bunks when I bought the trailer, so I purchased this and some stainless steel staples and got to work. The padding is plush and seems well made, and has yet to rip through the staples I used to secure it. I did not buy enough to cover the entire trailer, but I liked this so much that I decided to buy more and cover all the bunks. I'll see how it holds up after a couple of seasons, but I am very pleased so far. Great product.

This product works great for repairing boat trailer bunks. The dimensions of the product are 8 inches by 12 feet. The length is not mentioned in the description. It wil just fit a 2 x 4. The old carpeting that I took off the bunk was ten inches wide. I used it for one 8 foot bunk and ordered the 12 inch wide for the other bunk. You will need stainless steel staples to fasten it to the bunk. I opted to get the waterproof carpet adhesive for a more permanent placement, but you could get by with just the staples.
