Plus, the ATOTO Store offers the best Car In-Dash Navigation GPS Units based on accuracy, build quality, connectivity, and customer support.Waqqas S Khokhar: This was my first experience installing an aftermarket head unit and it was very straightforward. The 2010 RAV4 is not very complex to begin with, but the wiring on the ATOTO was labelled very clearly, so matching them up with a Metra harness was straightforward. I used buttconnectors and an "economy" model crimper. No issues faced so far. The touch-sensitivity and performance improved greatly after updating the head unit from the Nov 2022 firmware to the April 2023 firmware. The installed Google Maps app also became much more usable after downloading the current version (July 2023) from the Play Store, and offline maps with the included GPS receiver work great. The only thing that's not so great is the built-in mic (volume too low) as well as the bundled external mic, but you can get another external mic that can solve this problem. Overall, for the money paid, this thing is worth every penny. The screen is bright enough to be 100% usable even on the brightest and sunniest days. Not to mention, product support is great.

DaniyarDaniyar: The media could not be loaded. First of all, I think it is a really good product. I really enjoy using it, I can't imagine driving in my Subaru without it now.
The display quality is awesome, very sharp. The auto-dim works as intended.
The sound quality is pretty good, but gave 4 stars for the sound quality because the dedicated subwoofer pin barely works, so had to connect my active subwoofer via front speakers. Also, you will need to play around with the equalizer because the default and factory presets are not good at all.
It is fast. Boots up fast. And the reverse camera turns on fast and good quality. I really like it.
But,
from time to time the wireless connection with my iPhone gets disconnected (look at video), which is very annoying. I have contacted the customer service about it, and I have done everything they have suggested to solve the issue, but the issue is still there. Even after installing a the latest firmware.
Also, very rarely the screen on apple carplay maps becomes kind of shaded (look at pic).
And with the latest firmware, there is an issue with navigation directions sound. The music sound gets faded twice, instead of only...

LayloBrown: I installed this in a Honda Ridgeline for a customer, I drove the vehicle for a week and I really liked it. I installed a separate camera for the rear backup that works great and the video is crisp. I was able to program the steering controls with the after market thingmajigger for 8 bucks or whatever. The app worked. Mirror linked worked. The icar app is crap though, it I didn't like it anyway. The navigation worked great too so really no complaints from me.
I listened to the Fm radio and just scanned for stations with good reception and it seemed to work fine. But the customer does not get the fm radio station he likes. I tried different antennas/ amplifiers/ all the combos with no luck... could be the car maybe, but either no reception on this particular station.
I think though for the money that it's awesome, so I'll be putting it in one of my vehicles.

Backlater: I was looking for an Android unit that would play my MP3 files from a USB drive, an FM radio, navigation capabilities to accept my Android TomTom app, a backup camera and to be able to connect to a cell phone that does not have a data plan. The unit had to be reasonably priced as well. With those requirements in mind I came across the Atoto A6PF. It was attractively priced and seemed to meet my needs.
Unpacking the unit revealed a bunch of cables and other parts so I read the instructions and then proceeded to attack the install. I purchased a metra adapter wiring harness so I did not have to hack into my cars wiring harness and then made all the appropriate connections to suit my installation needs. The adapter plates were installed and all cables and wiring were plugged into the A6PF (including the GPS antenna that the instructions said to plug in BEFORE powering up for the first time) and then powered up. The A6PF came to life within a few seconds and all seemed well. So far, a painless straight forward installation.
Now, does the A6PF live up to it's advertised features? I setup the WiFi, downloaded and installed my music player, file browser and navigation apps....

Sebastien LachanceSebastien Lachance: First off, I have spent countless hours researching radios, installs, more radios, reviews, more reviews (I have a hard time making up my mind when making an important purchase)
With that being out of the way, I have to say that so far this little ardroid radio is simply amazing. I have included a bunch of pictures of things needed (or not) for the instalation of this head unit
Make it easy on yourself and go to the Crutchfield website for all the little extras that will make your life just this much extra simple.
First you need the radio removal tools ( Metra 86-5618 Factory Radio Removal Tools )
Please be aware that the mazda Miata radio requires 4 four quatro of these removal tools and one kit contains 2. You might be able to fiddle around with 2 and a precision screwdriver or whatever. I just went to a shop and borrowed an extra kit for the 5 seconds it took to unclip the radio.
Next thing important to have on hand is a wiring harness ( Metra 70-7903 Receiver Wiring Harness )
Man did this save me a lot of trouble, everything on the metra harness is very well labeled AND everything on the harness that came with the ATOTO A6PF radio was amazingly just as...

Floyd Sense: Installed this in a 2014 Mazda MX5. Would not fit the Metra dash kit and I used the Scosche kit which doesn't fit the MX5 dash as well as the Metra. This is the main reason for the 4 instead of 5 rating.
Pros:
-Steering wheel controls easy to set up without separate adapter for MX5
-Works with existing Bose amp/speakers or with non-Bose MX5
-Screen is bright and clear, readable on sunny day in convertible while wearing polarized sunglasses
-Ability to install Android apps from the Play Store or other sources. Torque Pro app allows monitoring of engine functions not visible on normal dash instruments
-Price - very low compared to Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.
-Accessories such as rear view camera, OBD2 interface, are good quality and integrate well with the radio
Cons
-Microphone gain is low when used with cell phones. Works, but other party says hard to hear the audio compared to other radios with cell phone interface
-Requires use of Scosche dask kit in MX5, which doesn't fit the dash as well as the Metra kit
-Would not play my .WMA music files. MP3 works great.
-GPS function is inferior to using a stand-alone GPS like Garmin...

RS in Flat Rock: I decided to replace the old Pioneer Z110-BT nav head-unit in my 2010 Porsche 987 mainly because it lacked so many modern features and it was no longer supported for map and firmware updates. Since I had not been in the market for an aftermarket head unit in over 13 years, I probably should of spent more time educating myself. I started looking at what was available and was shocked at number of brands I had never hear of. I was also shocked at the prices for the big brands like Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC, etc.
I knew I wanted (as a minimum) Android Auto support so I could connect my Samsung (Android based) phone. I saw a reasonably priced Jensen and ordered it without getting fully educated. I saw "Android" but didn't realize that it, like most big brands, used proprietary firmware for both the operating system and the applications. If you didn't like how they worked - you were stuck with it. And it didn't support wireless AA.
So I decided to look closer for a unit that actually ran the well-known and widely supported Android operating system. I decided that a new requirement was to support 3rd party apps that I could download from Google Play store. Looking on Amazon (and...

Sean Wilson: The functionality is better to me than a lot of modern vehicles with accessories added on. I just won't be able to go back from an Android head unit. You can't beat it for the price, you'll still pay less for the whole ecosystem of addons (that take it from good to great) than some higher end units that will still be lacking. Screen is nice and bright with easy dimming for night driving, touch screen is responsive and quick, it's like a tablet in your car with plenty of apps in the play store to add in. As for the sound, it's hard for me to say as I added this to a recently acquired vehicle and I wasn't very familiar with the sound system to hear any changes. But, it sounds great to me with EQ and the positional enhancements. Very happy with this.
