David A. Hill: Way better than my old blade but it doesn't look like they will last nearly as long. I take care of my tools, but the one blade is showing signs of a year or more use and I haven't run 40 board ft through it. Mostly pine.
Probably a great blade for soft wood, but I think the walnut and pecan I've run through it may have dulled it.
Worth what you pay.

Claude: I am using this blade on a weed wacker to cut heavier brush than the string trimmer can handle. It works great. It will cut down trees about 3 inches or so. It cuts them fast. I have been cleaning out honeysuckle and other heavy weeds & small trees around my place. When I was using a pair of lopers and having to bend down to ground level, getting up was a real chore for me. Now I just walk along & trim heavier ones that I could with the lopers. Before the blase I hated cutting the honeysuckle and I enjoy it.
