tellmetrue: I’ve tried several kinds of almond butter, and I am really turned off buy the ones that have a half inch layer of oil at the top. These almost all have to be refrigerated, which is another pain because it’s even harder to mix. And I’m sorry, but most of the oily versions looked like a baby poo once I got it spread on a piece of toast -not very appetizing. The Artisana almond butter has a great kind of grainy texture, and no slimy oil in the jar. It does not have to be refrigerated which I love. It is a little on the pricey side, but the convenience of not having to mix it all up every time I use it and the great texture is worth the extra price to me.

AC: This is the real deal, so far as I can tell. It has a wonderful, gritty, genuine almond character to it, it's a real nut butter. If you wanted just an almond version of Jif or Skippy, this isn't it. I purchased this for authenticity, and that is what it is.
It is not easy to spread, and requires remixing when you want to use it, but if you were contemplating a product like this I imagine you already knew about all of that.

Amazon Customer: My almond butter product came all damaged and when I went to try to return the item it said it is NOT ELIGLE FOR RETURN!!! This makes absolutely no sense when an item comes damaged and it does not allow you to even replace it. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
