DRBFDRBF: We chose the natural, non-pvc version of this tile. They were easy to cut with a utility knife. Now painting is a different story. The paint applied easily enough BUT with all the angles painting was difficult. I should've used a sprayer, but I didn't. I tried a small roller and then ended up using a brush because of the many angles and the semigloss paint choice I'd think I was done painting and then discover spots I'd missed.
I loved how lightweight the material was, which was imperative when doing such a large area.

WakehamWifeyWakehamWifey: Couple things I wish I had known before ordering them... the double stick tape didnt work they kept falling so we ended up using liquid glue. Two of the pannels dented when they fell and there is no fixing them. Plant fiber looks like recycled cardboard upclose. There is no good way to clean them. With all of that said I LOVE how they look and am glad I bought them. They shipped fast and were packaged well. I get lots of compliments on how they look and they definitely help add somthing extra to the room. Despite the install being a pain I would buy them again.

brittneybrittney: These lightweight tiles are beautiful! We chose to use them on the ceiling of our mud room. Install was a unique experience. We did not find any previous reviews on using them on the ceiling, but forged ahead regardless. The seams did not line up perfectly and this was triggering for my perfectionist self. My husband, the installer, did not personally see this as an issue, but he knows me well enough to know I would. We used super glue in each corner and the center as well as gorilla glue along all of the sides to attach them to the ceiling. The super glue dries faster so it got them to stick while the gorilla glue dried. We found ourselves needing to use tacks as an additional method to keep them hung until the glue dried. My husband then went around the seams with white caulking to hide the imperfections. We cut holes for recessed lighting. This was a mild challenge due to the edges peeling at times, but the caulking was able to hide that too. We then chose to paint over everything with white paint to give a uniform look and feel. All in all, a manageable, slightly obnoxiously time consuming task. My husband and I agree we would do it all again even knowing what we know now,...

CubayashiCubayashi: Als TV-Hintergrund und einem gewissen Abstand macht diese Deko einen sehr guten Eindruck. Im Zusammenspiel mit Ambi-Light (in meinem Fall das Goovee TV Immersion Set) spielt der Hintergrund natürlich richtig gut auf! Das Bild wird gefühlt deutlich erweitert und der Effekt ist sehr viel deutlicher, als an der Tapete. Dennoch ist der hohe Preis und die unsauber geschnittenen Kanten ein Minuspunkt. Laut Hersteller wird empfohlen, die Paneele zu grundieren und zu streichen, das habe ich nicht getan und werde das auch nicht tun. Für meinen Geschmack ist es durchaus hell genug. Die Verarbeitung, bzw. das Zurechtschneiden ist mühselig, alleine mit einer Schere (eine gute wohlgemerkt) bin ich hier nicht weitergekommen und musste mit meinem Dremel arbeiten. Vor allem, wenn man kleine Stücke aussparen möchte (Regelträger, Steckdosen, Lichtschalter, usw.) steht man vor einem Problem. Kabelkanäle und die TV-Wandhalterung machen da weniger Probleme, da hier in der Regel ganze Stücke abgeschnitten werden.
Insgesamt gefällt mir der Effekt natürlich sehr - der Preis ist mit ca. 82€ aber deutlich zu hoch!

Dez: We love the look of this panel but after all the work I had to put into it I'm not sure its any easier than a mosaic on mesh install. It's lightweight and only needs a general adhesive to be installed, however it didn't fit the measurements of our wall as hoped and we had to cut into the middle of the stone to make it fit. This meant we had to come back and fill and caulk all the way around because there were odd gaps across. It's a sturdy material but it's harder to cut than we expected so it made for some frustrating moments and bent cutters. The 3D shape makes blade cutting almost impossible if you have to cut outside of the trim. It's best to spackle the seams afterward. Installing around outlets is hard because of them being 3D. You need 3D outlet rings and you'll want to caulk around them as well. All this to say is they look really cool but I would not call this a cheaper, easier alternative. It took a lot of work and with all the extra things I needed to make it work I could have bought a mosaic on mesh at a wholesaler and it would have been comparable in work and cost with the size of job we did. Linda Fréchette: Installation facile avec un pistolet à calfeutrer et de la colle sur tout les morceaux. Il suffit de mettre du latex pour que les joints ne paraissent pas. Et on fini avec la peinture choisi. Pour les interrupteurs ou prises de courant il faut ajouter des rallonges de boite électrique. Voilà.
