Fayette Scott: The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE: Purchased December 15,2021
DISAPPOINTED… When I first received this ice/heat pack, it had ample gel in each pad and I was very satisfied with the ice and heat that the pack gave. NOW just shy of 2 years of usage…Due to ankle surgery, I used it a couple of times a week for a few months to once a week, just occasionally.
Thought it would last a lot longer because my generic medium sized gel ice pack I got from the store is still as full as the day I bought it, which was before this one.

Heather Montgomery: I used this after Physical Therapy on my tendon. It was so nice that it stayed in place. It also stayed cold for a long time.

Nanny McPheeNanny McPhee: The Arris feet and ankle ice wrap for hot and cold therapy fits my foot fairly well. I have not used it yet. My purpose for this review is that this package was opened and probably try it on which is a health and safety issue my my opinion. I’m not sure if this is a Amazon fault or the company (Arris) Either way this item shouldn’t be returnable

Kristen: I recently broke my ankle and had surgery to have plates and screws installed. This ankle ice pack has done wonders in providing a comfortable and easy icing solution. As other reviews have commented, the ice packs are a little challenging to insert but once in, I just put the whole ankle wrap in the freezer so I don’t have to constantly pull and put in the ice packs. The box does not come with instructions so it takes a few minutes to figure out how it is to be worn. The heel has a small opening but the location of the gel packs help to spread the coolness around the entire foot. Easy to velcro on and off an injury without any pain. Well worth the buy!

Carole D: I have 2 breaks on my 5th metatarsal, as well as a sprained ankle, and this does a really good job in fitting on both areas and cooling equally. Much better than the bag of frozen peas! :) It does take a while to re-freeze though. I like to use it every 2 hours, so I place another soft gel ice pack inside every other time, and they're both able to re-freeze in 3 1/2-4 hours. Having a spare set of the packs sounds like a good idea, but I've used these soft ice packs for a while, and they always eventually fail if bent repeatedly in the same general area. Inserting and removing the packs often could lead to problems, so I choose my extra pack just wrapped inside and leave the Arris packs in their pockets. One other great thing about this wrap, is that I can squish the gel from side to side within the pack, and really target the areas I need to hit. This definitely meets all of my needs without being super expensive.8

HML: Works great, and with the velcro it fits many different sizes. My only complaint is that the ice is on the bottom of your foot and you don't get full coverage along the top. I would much rather have better coverage on the top of my foot than along the bottom. I have gotten around this with not sliding the bottom ice pack into the opening along the bottom and rather put that particular ice pack along the top of my foot instead.

JFSSR: Product worked very well to relieve foot nerve pain at night. I wear it cold over a sock at night and it provides just enough cooling effect for about two hours. Worked so good I bought another so I could rotate them to get me through the night. Much better than taking pain medication with all their side effects!

Update 1/17/2021: I now have purchased three of these ankle/foot ice packs which I rotate and they continue to be great in controlling my nerve pain. Unfortunately one night recently one of the packs split open. Fortunately the contents were contained within the boot. I contacted the supplier through Amazon about the mishap and within a day or two the supplier contacted me and promptly sent me (free of charge) new replacement packs. The boot was a bit messy inside which I cleaned out as best I could before inserting a new replacement pack. I believe the company stood by their product by sending me the replacement packs and would not hesitate recommending this product to others with similar nerve issues.

Tricia: I ordered the Ankle and Foot Wrap in early June because my foot had been aching with pain for weeks thanks to Rheumatoid Arthritis causing tendinitis in my Achilles and bottom of my foot. Nothing else that I was trying was helping much - not heat or stretches so I thought why not try ice when I came across this wrap by accident while on Amazon.

The wrap is fantastic! It's easy to use. The gel packs can be used for heat or cold. I haven't used them for heat yet though. I place the gel packs in the freezer for a couple of hours and then place the two packs in the wrap, It takes a couple minutes to figure it out at first but it's really easy. It goes on your foot and wraps around the ankle nicely and if you want and even tighter or more secure wrap there's an extra strap included.

You could use this wrap on your foot and ankle without the gel pack as well. It's very well made and quite supportive - although as I say this I must say do not walk in it with the gel pack in as you don't want to pop a gel pack!

It's recommended to only use the cold for 20 minutes at a time. I have accidentally used the wrap a little longer and the gel packs are cool for some...

Chris: I really like the product. It is a bit hard to insert the ice packs as severs users mentioned but not a big deal, really comfortable and covers most of the foot and Achilles’ tendon which is what I need. The only thing I was disappointed with is they offer free gel packs by emailing OR going on their Facebook group. I don’t use Facebook so I chose to send an email. Their answer was that I must go on Facebook which is not what their offer says as it does give you a choice. I sent a message on Amazon after and 5 days later, no response yet. Anyways, I like the product but would have loved extra gel packs to switch between cold and hot.

Warren: Research many, many different gel ice packs for my achilles tendon injury. I needed something I could easily stick in the fridge and ice consistently everyday. I ultimately settled on the Aeris ice pack combo because it had the ankle boot into which you could add the ice packs. I thought it would be the perfect solution, but actually when you place the packs into their inserts, and then wrap the boot around your ankle - I felt it was too cold for prolonged use. So I ended up ditching the boot and just manually applied the ice pack around my ankles. It's closer to a traditional solution of physically holding an ice bag against your area of injury and going on and off as you please. I personally think old school methods such as these tend to be best anyways.

I was also very pleasantly surprised that these ice packs can be microwaved! I was also having some upper back pain and placed these heated bags against my back. The relief was instantaneously euphoric! It's great to use to induce relaxation or deep heated therapy. But be careful - you shouldn't microwave the pack for over 20 seconds (as recommended on the packaging).

Great product overall.
