Schmidty: As the title states, this is my second application of Foundation Armor AR-500 sealant on my stamped concrete driveway. The previous application was three years ago, and it was time for a renewal. I am happy that the first application lasted three years as we live in the rust belt and the driveway is exposed to road salt about four months of the year. The AR-500 held up well, but the gloss had dissipated. Preparation involved a power wash which consumes some time and water (600 square feet of surface area), but once that is done, the most challenging part is working around the weather. I started the job when I did because the forecast was for ten days with no rain. So, after power washing the driveway and waiting the recommended 24 hours, I applied the first coat of AR-500 with a half inch nap roller cover. It took me about two hours using a 9-inch roller, but it is easy to apply. I planned to apply the second coat after 24 hours drying time but of course, it rained about ten hours after I finished the first coat. No harm was done to the first coat, but the driveway was wet, and I had to wait two days for it to dry thoroughly. We have had unseasonably hot weather this year and we...

Bell 407GXiBell 407GXi: The AR500 Sealer was used on our nearly 900 sq-ft paver patio. The patio was installed about 10 years ago using Unilock brand pavers. For unknown reasons, the contractor who originally installed the patio did not apply any sealer, which we think adversely contributed to the paver locking sand (used in the cracks between the pavers) breaking down over time. The thought being that the elements (water, freezing, thawing, etc.) had the opportunity to wick down into the compromised locking sand leading to the pavers heaving & the locking sand popping loose. Perhaps had the entire patio been sealed following installation, and repeated periodically over the years (maybe each year), the patio would not be in the condition it was.
In the process of determining what to do with the deteriorated patio condition, we obtain quotes from various contractors. As you can imagine with a patio this size the cost to revitalize was extensive. We opted to do the work ourselves with the bulk of the effort coming during the removal of the existing/broken up locking sand. This was accomplished using a multi-tool & a quantity of thin blades, which actually worked quite well but took a long...

Ramesh R.Ramesh R.: My Previous was out of shape and showing signs of going Dullness
I recently used a concrete sealer on my patio, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the results. The product I used was AR500, and it has completely transformed the look and durability of my concrete Patio surfaces.
The application process was straightforward. I followed the manufacturer's instructions, which were clear and easy to understand. The sealer went on smoothly, and it dried relatively quickly, allowing me to complete the project in a weekend. I appreciated that it was also low in odor, which made the application more pleasant.
Not only does the sealer offer fantastic protection, but it has also enhanced the appearance of my concrete surfaces (Basement Steps). My Patio now have a beautiful glossy look, and the colors appear more vibrant. It has added an attractive finish that really complements the surrounding landscape.
As you can see first few 3 pictures shows how my patio looked before applying AR500 and last 3 pictures shows the transformation (I also applied it to my Concrete Basement Stairs), Pl. note that I also mixed it with "Armor Fine Non Slip Additive for Slip...
