justjo: Up until 3-4 months ago, I would have given the product a 5 star review, even though the packing and shipping left a lot to be desired.

We have an elderly cat with kidney issues who started becoming extremely picky about her litter. It was a happy accident to come across this litter which she took to and quit going so often outside if her box. The litter clumped nicely, had very little dust and controlled odors, which was important because we had to move her box to our half bath just off our kitchen and near our entryway.

However, something in the formula has changed and the litter is now a virtual dust storm when adding to the box or changing it out. Unfortunately, I may have to change again, because it irritates my asthma so bad. I wish I had thought to get a video of the dust cloud that overtook the bathroom and hallway after changing out her box.

You have really messed up.a good thing arm & hammer.

Layla S: i think it’s effective for scent control. i have two adult cats and two litter boxes. i clean the box every day to every other day, but wouldn’t recommend going any longer than that between cleanings. it is dustier than expected so not sure if it would be suited for lidless boxes. it does clump well

Amazon Customer: As someone living with disability who also loves their cat very much, this is life saving. Sometimes it's difficult to scoop her litter every day, but this litter prevents odor on days I don't have the energy for cleaning.

It clumps perfectly, prevents odor well (for being unscented), and is super easy to clean. There is a little dust, but not nearly as much as other litters. The price is good and I'm really happy with this.

I will definitely be buying more.

Emily-Kate: I purchased the lavender scent before this one. This is so much better! The unscented neutralizes the pet odor so much better and our cat loves to kick up her kitty litter and this one clumps up very well do avoid big messes. It has a bit of a clay scent but I'll take it over the lavender any day

Amazon Customer: Take it from a cat owner who's had cats for over 25 years, this litter clumps super well, but it tracks a LOT of rocks. I like that it's unscented. I gave it four stars because despite how I feel about the tracking, my cat loves this type of litter. He digs in it and seems to enjoy it a lot lol I'm not sure why. The litter itself is on more gritty side; it's not finely ground in other words.

Susan Stewart: My husband has developed a cough which I believe was caused by the dust from the litter box. The dust ends up everywhere despite the fact that the box is in an en suite bathroom next to our den. I have used every litter that is recommended as dust free (particularly Dr. Elsey's which everyone seems to think is great). This litter has, so far, proved to be superior both for dust and for not sticking to the box. Dr. Elsey's is terribly sticky and has noticeable dust. I have only used this for a short time, but so far so good. I chose the unscented version and it has a very slight scent, but it isn't terrible, just notice it when I scoop. The litter tracks like all litter seems to do, but it has slightly larger pieces so isn't as bad as sandier textured litters.
I'll order this again! Not the cheapest litter around, but worth it to keep the dust down.
