RLeo: This product is awesome! My father in law is a heavy smoker. We put his suit in our closet overnight and the smell stayed. I will say it took a couple weeks to really notice a difference, but there is no smell in the closet now. You do need to put it somewhere it won't get knocked over, because the beads turn to liquid as they absorb moisture and could easily fall out of the container. We're trying one in our gun safe next. I'll update this if it removes the chemical smell.

Ash: Purchased for my linen closet that always smelled stuffy. It’s humid and hot as hell where I live and even though I would occasionally open the closet to air out things would eventually smell a little musty. This takes about a week for you to notice a difference but does work very well so far no more musty odors! Also they have a film that stops beads from falling out of you read directions properly that is not a legit issue as noted by someone else but even if you accidentally remove that film it’s a large base and would take some effort to knock over unless poorly placed. Well worth! It’s been in there about a month now and will report back in longevity later!
