Tinkled Toes: I needed an adapter for my RAM motorcycle mount which had the large ball (25 mm) and wanted to reduce to the smaller ball (17mm) so I could put a navigation device on that took the smaller ball. This was the perfect solution without having to go buy a whole new mount.

Wil: I like and use RAM Mount equipment. This component allowed me to replace the mount that came with a wireless automotive phone charge bracket with RAM gear that i prefer. The end result is I ended up with a very effective RAM mount solution whilst being able to retain the wireless charging phone bracket that worked quite well but had a small ball type socket to attach to the mount.
