LaDana: I bought Nut Crumbs as a Keto friendly substitute for Panko and other bread based coatings. The product was exactly as described, which for me, was a positive and a negative. The flavor of the crumb coating was very fresh, vibrant and nutty and that’s a very good thing BUT it’s fresh, vibrant and nutty flavor also overwhelmed every protein (fish, pork, beef and chicken) I tried it on. I didn’t like that my catfish and baked chicken tasted like nuts. That said, it was a fantastic addition in my peanut butter cookies recipe, stirred into the creamy almond butter I put on slices of apple and on top of my Halo Ice Cream.

Because the flavor is on point and because I was able to easily repurpose so none went to waste I recommend purchasing and will I purchase again.

Kip Karter: Wasn’t sure what to expect. Had never tried coating with nuts before and certainly wasn’t expecting my partner to embrace this. We had it on baked chicken. I’d made a separate panko coated batch just in case this was a ‘not for us’. We both loved it and the dogs got the panko crusted. Big thumbs up.

Sara GregorySara Gregory: These are so delicious. I used the original version to make a crust for my keto cheesecake. I added a little monk, fruit sweetener, and some butter. (Chilled overnight in springform pan to set) It was delicious.!

PAUL M: Really just some finely ground nuts with spices. Makes a decent topper for certain recipes but by no means would I consider this a breadcrumb alternative. There are much better non-nut based options out there if you’re looking for a real breadcrumb alternative that’s also keto friendly.

They have just enough seasoning to flavour the food but keep the nutrition count where I need it. Super!! Tastes great and healthy!
