James Schardt: First and formost, this is a good printer. I had the machine printing within 20 minutes of unboxing it. If this is your first resin printer, watch a couple unboxing videos and read the instructions. Resin printers are easier to use than filament ones, but are much messier (That resin is going to drip off the print when you move to transfer it to whatever you plan on using to rince. Be prepared.)

That being said, I had to get the first one I ordered replaced because the Z axis drive started making grinding noises and wouldn't lift the build plate. Should you experience problems with a machine ordered through Amazon, GO THROUGH AMAZON TO CONTACT THEM! They are very prompt through Amazon and give good support there. The Anycubic Website... not so much. They should probably change their Contact Us page to have a separate place for issues with their products so entries there do not go to a Spam folder and add a note directing Amazon customers to go through Amazon.

As a I said, it's a good product and they give good customer service if you go through the correct channels

Mrs.Potter: PROS:
1) Comes pretty much assembled.
2) Decent slicing software, decent machine file out of box
3) Good Quality Prints Out of Box
4) Lots of community support on social media.
5) Easy to maintain
6) Low learning curve to get started with
7) This is not an odorless resin and skin contact with it should be minimal. There are many warnings to operate machine in a properly ventilated area and to wear proper PPE while using machine.
8) The lid is built so that it is easy to install 8mm UV LED Strip Lights.
9) Lots of build volume for entry level machine.

CONS
1) Manufacturer Documentation needs work. The setup isn't clear and neither is maintenance, you get an idea of what to do but not a clear understanding of what to do.
2) Please build a better usb Interface and integrate in to hardware and slicer so we can direct connect machines to USB.
3) Update boot files so it is easier to recover machine files if there is a catastrophic machine failure or USB stick failure. Maybe provide ISO images for machines on your website. Something to make machine recovery for operators.
4) Upgrade to 64 bit hardware and firmware kernel so we can use larger...

Henchmen4HireHenchmen4Hire: The media could not be loaded.  [UPDATED 9/14: After a lot of troubleshooting, Anycubic eventually sent me a new screen to see if that would fix the issues with the random defects. I've printed a few full plates now and the random defects do still happen, albeit at a much reduced rate. I no longer get the solid blocks, but occasionally there will be a hiccup and the other defects will rear their ugly heads. I have now spent over $100 in materials out of my own pocket to troubleshoot this thing with customer support, and it's still not 100% reliable. I'm done trying to fix it.]

[UPDATED 7/27: The replacement printer has the same issues. Don't buy this printer. Ugh.]

[UPDATED 7/26: Received a new one and it also has issues. Light uniformity is horrible and has the grid line issue again, will test print today. Added a picture of my original Mono X to show how it's supposed to look like.]
