I had zero experience 3D printing before buying this. I was told by a friend that getting an auto leveler would be best and MAN IS IT. This is a great printer. Pretty idiot proof lol.
SET UP: super easy and very clear instructions. If your printer turns on but the screen does not work, you just have to switch the voltage (w/e it’s called) for the power. Save you some googling there lol. The Z-offset will be crucial and sometimes takes some adjusting. Mine lives at about -0.85 so don’t be scared to adjust it.
PRINTING: It comes with a tiny memory card and USB stick. Here’s how you print after you’ve done the owl test print.
- Put memory card in usb and plug into computer
- Open a file sharing 3D model site such printables(dot)com and search through things you’d like to print. I’d recommend reviewing how many files before clicking download all as some are different sizes or interchangeable options. This printer uses g code so any file like that should be ready to print. However, most files are in STL (I’m a noob, idk what printers use that lol).
- Once g codes are downloaded, just drag and drop to your usb memory stick

Súper fácil de usar, es una impresora perfecta para principiantes el echarla a andar no me tomo mucho tiempo, eso si le construí una base con un mosaico y unas pelotas de goma como soporte que me recomendó un amigo para reducir las vibraciones y mejorar la calidad de impresión. El resultado fue excelente.

Mi sento di darvi delle dritte :
1 installare la versione di cura direttamente dal sito. Poiché, la versione su sd è troppo datata.
2 con un calibro digitale, assicuratevi che l'asse z sia perfettamente allineato. Mi riferisco alle viti su ambo i due motori lungo la barra zigrinata. Basta girarne uno così da addatarlo all'altezza dell'altro
3 il piatto è facile da rettificare,
4 consiglio di tenerla al coperto mentre opera. Di fatto se messa davanti alla finestra leggermente aperta, la macchina si sforza per mantenere il calore alla temperatura richiesta.
E al contempo i sensori per avitare corti, bloccano la corrente per prevenire danni elettronici. In poche parole soffre il freddo 😂
Sulla qualità di stampa nulla da eccepire. La trovo davvero ottima, per ogni tipo di ingaggio.
NB. avviate il preriscaldamento prima di qualsiasi stampa.
Secondo mio modesto parere, fa il suo dovere. Consiglio di prenderla da Amazon per la qualità e la garanzia che mette al servizio del cliente.

Ich bin total begeistert von dem Teil. Jetzt im Ruhestand konnte ich mir Freecad beibringen, und kann nun nahezu jedes Teil kunstruktiv darstellen und audrucken. Die Teile sind meist auf mind. 0,1 mm passgenau. Bei Passungen musste ich etwas umdenken (ich komme aus dem Metallbereich). das kommt durch die Oberfäche der Bauteile. Press- und Spielpassungen funktionieren aber.
Durch das Austrucken von Ersatzteilen, Blumenampeln, Abdeckungen die es im Handel nicht gibt usw, hat sich das Teil schon jetzt amortisiert.
Ich würde den Drücker jederzeit wieder kaufen.

The Mega X definitely blew away my expectations. The assembly process is extremly easy, it comes in two parts: the base, and the carriage. All you have to do is put in about 8-10 screws, plug in about 4 connectors, and level the bed. It took me less than an hour to get this thing printing. It's an impressive design.
The design is robust and of high quality with dual lead screw z axis providing greater stability and precison and the solid base and y axis design allowing compactness. The touchscreen UI is very easy to use and navigate, leveling the bed is relativly easy (I use a dial indicator, but the paper method is usually fine). Overall build and material screams high quality since there aren't many plastic components to this printer. The ultra base is like magic, no glue or hairspray required since it's textured glass. I didn't have a single issue with prints not sticking to the bed.
Initial reaction: The sample file the printer comes with seems off in code because it has a egregious amount of stringing, however, using the Cura slicer, it is easily fixable. My first major print was the Halo sign I got from Thingiverse, took about 22 hours, and it...
