Steven Matos: This printer was my first FDM printer. I will tell you, it can be an all consuming hobby but this device will make it easy to print for anyone.
Setting up the printer is super easy and the customer support at Anycubic is actually really good. I recently had an issue with a printer and they sent me a replacement part no problem. (side note it was coming from China so it took 3 weeks but honestly, im just glad it resolved my issue)
The printer has stock firmware that is good but for those pro's who want to tinker with the E-Steps and really fine tune a machine - this one will let you do it.
I've even had some luck printing TPU with bowden system. ABS not so much but I think thats a user error really.
The laser is cool but I don't use it. My daughter is way too young and I'm afraid she'll look at it. Still a really cool thing to have if you get into that kinda stuff.

Craig Quartermain: Great for making gadgets. Like the updated dual drive filament extruded.

riain880: I'll start by saying that I have a background in high-precision technical trades. I have worked with 3D printers in the past, but didn't own one personally until purchasing this model, the Mega Pro. I settled on this model as it has several quality of life features and appeared to have a robust build quality. My intent for this printer has been to learn and refine baseline skills, dial it in so as to produce consistent results, and then look forward towards upgrades or a more performance-centric platform.
Overall, the initial impression of the build quality was solid. There was no worry that it would rattle itself to pieces, as the frame is stout and is assembled from two primary pieces. That said, the experiences I've had following assembly have been very concerning - I will not be purchasing again from Anycubic.
In terms of work-space management, I am not impressed. The SD card slot and cable port are positioned on the right side of the printer, in the front. This is also where the arm to hold the filament is mounted by default, meaning your filament spool will sit in front of both of the communication ports. You can maneuver the cable under the spool but it feels...

jen cooperjen cooper: The printer works great! High quality 3D prints with PLA and the laser works very well on paper and wood. I haven't tried anything else.
My only criticism is that switching between laser mode and 3D printing mode requires swapping a connection. The connector does not seem like it will handle many changes and the connector is buried under the connection for the stepper motor interface. So this must be pulled out each time too.
I am working to make a switch box or replace the connectors to something more robust.

thegametrovethegametrove: So out of the box i liked the build quality cause most everything is metal. I assembled it and was started printing in about 45min after opening the box. Directions were fairly easy to understand. I have uploaded videos of the initial test print process. This seems like it will hold up quite well. I like that this is one of the knly 3d printers at this price point that will do laser engraving as well as 3d printing. I really like how the touch screen is responsive and has an easy to use interface. My kids are enjoying watxhing it print objects out of filamint and so am i. I will upload more pics of the laser engraving shortly. Now im looking at all the other 3d printing options that anycubic makes. Thanks for making an awesome user friendly product

Samuel Bartlett: This is the 4th filament printer I’ve purchased and the only one I’ve kept. Why? Because unlike other printers, this is about as close to plug and use as it gets. It’s easy to assemble and thanks to the level assist sensor, very simple to level. The ultrabase means prints stick every time, no tape or glue sticks needed. That being said, there are a couple of caveats.
1. The touch screen requires a firm button pushing, but in this price range not unusual.
2. I had to open the filament feeder and tighten the grub screw on the internal gear. The tool for it is provided. It’s just not clear to do this if there is a feeding issue.
I have been using Anycubic’s brand of filament and it works good with it, no stringing! Haven’t tried the laser engraver yet.

KojiKoji: Very pleased with this printer, out of the box, everything is packed well, organized and complete.
Set up involves screwing the top assembly with the bottom base assembly, and then connecting a few harnesses.
I chose to manually level the hot end which could not be easier. Once calibrated, I have been printing non-stop, various qualities... no failed prints!!!!
A few notes:
The bed adhesion is AMAZING! Wait for the bed to cool down a bit before trying to remove your print, and it comes off very easily, to avoid damage.
I do wish that the laser could be used in conjunction with the 3D printer head... imagine printing a layer and then engraving, etc? Anyway, as it is, the laser head does stay mounted, you just need to change the connector to the base unit.. not a big deal at all.
Maybe some issue with M0 gcode command, which is basically to pause the print from the gcode file.. in this case, the machine seems to hang and not get passed this. I have read that this is mitigated with a direction computer connection. I'm still looking into it, but not a huge deal obviously, most will not use this feature, and the machine has a built in pause in...
