Carlos: Huge printer, super fast, has some small minor quirks but easily worked around, for anyone wanting a flat build surface and can’t find a larger PEI sheet; I flipped the bed around and put large style Kapton tape to the other side the same way you put on window tint and it still levels perfectly because of the metal which is how the leveling system works! Holding up nice!

Charles SoucyCharles Soucy: This printer is a beast! I use it every days since purchased. I changed the nozzle to use ASA and abrasive materials...thats all I needed.

This printer is FAST and PRECISE. They just added the input shaping and linear advance in the firmware and after tuning the machine, you can print around 150mm/s and 2500mm/s2 accel using PLA and have 0 ringing and 0 underextrusion. It just spits 3d parts at maybe 4x the speed the ultimaker does at work...and they look better too!

The pictures are from some prints I made...the pig was at 150mm/s and 2500mm/s2 with 0.2mm layer height...the other picture is a 100mm bridge between 2 parts of a chinook.

I highly recommend this printer for the price you pay, you get much more than what you'd expect!

Norm: Wow talk about speed and quality much better than the original kobra, use prusa slicer and you can use a usb to usb c cord to connect to your pc for direct printing. it also has a microsd card and slot. But i prefer the printer to pc hook up for better tweaking the print. You can dlownload a setting profile from Aurora Tech Channel on youtube.

Glen B.: I upgraded from a 'Mega' printer as it was showing signs of age. This new one is easier to set up (by far) and was pretty much ready to go right out of the box. So far, very impressed. Pretty easy to set up, and the packaging was really really good. No complaints at all. Looking forward to another upgrade in 3 or 4 years, they really do keep improving. For the $ it's quite a deal.

Chick NorrisChick Norris: UPDATE:

I bought this printer in October 2022. Since that time, I have been plagued by hotend errors. I've replaced the hotbed, hotend, printhead gantry and printhead cable. Intermittently between repairs it has worked - not perfect, but at least it wasn't a brick.

Currently, I am not able to get past the hotend error. Everything except the motherboard is new by replacement from Anycubic. Why did I buy a printer so that I could basically rebuild it?

Don't get me wrong, when this was working, it was fantastic - I have zero issues with quality of print, speed, etc. The only issue I am having right now is that it doesn't work. At all.

In my personal opinion, the printhead is poorly designed - with no stability for the printhead cable, the constant movement will eventually wear out the wires and the flimsy fabric tape will not protect that. So - that's one replacement heavy printers will need to plan on doing in the future. Changing the printhead itself is not that hard - except for the melted wax on the connectors that makes it near impossible (for people who do not regularly mess with electronics) to unplug the connectors. The same goes...

ladyvipaka: This is my second 3D printer (first was an Ender 3 Pro), and it runs much more reliably and prints with higher detail than the Ender 3 Pro did.
However, few things worth noting about this printer, especially for beginners.

1) Installation is *not* 1-2-3 steps easy as shown in their marketing video. You have to hold the printer almost completely upside-down to get screws into it, which sometimes trap cords underneath the frame bits, and after you've finished with the elbow grease assembly (screwing the frame together, screwing the LCD panel in, clamping the filament holder in), then you have to plug in virtually *all* the cords for this thing. For every step motor (4?), for the LCD screen, 3 for the hotend, connect the tubing, connect the larger black cord etc. Thankfully the cords are at least labelled with X, Y, ZR etc but the places they are meant to be plugged into are not labelled. Didn't count, but felt like there were at least 12 cords that needed to be plugged in to various places. Then after that, you have to channel your inner contortionist to cut all the zip ties that are buried on this printer without nicking any of the necessary cords or...
