Puddin TURNER: It is hard to find these filters at a local store for my unit that have the metal sandwich in between the filter.

Amazon Customer: I started buying these online since my local store prices for replacement humidifier filters doubled a few years ago. I was skeptical after reading the other reviews, but decided to try them anyway. I am glad I took a chance on buying these filters. These are comparable to the brand my humidifier uses, works just as well, and cost less. They last 30 to 45 days and keeps the air moist. They are easy to use and fit into my humidifier perfectly (my humidifier has its own case for the filter). I use water from the faucet and have not had any issues with the filters. I highly recommend these filters.
