DTW: Bought this for my office., even though it's in a separate room, it's super noisy. I even packed professional egg crate noise reduction around it and inserted it into a cabinet, and I can still hear it buzzing in the other room. I wish I would have spent more and got a quiet one. Other than the noise, I love it, but the noise is a dealbreaker. I would return it if it wasn't such a pain in the ass. Guess I'll live with it and then upgrade in a few years.

Warbird: After approximately a year, running in my garage, the unit still runs fine without excessive noise. I do however, have two issues.
First, the shelves are very flimsy and fall from their tracks with loads that are not excessively heavy.
Second, as mentioned in other reviews, the internal light is TOTALLY useless.
All that being said, if it lasts for years as it should, I’ll be pleased with my purchase.

Keith: It’s certainly not a silent operation when the motor is running. It does not run all the time in comparison if you had a standup freezer the motor would be about twice as loud as this but in the kitchen that is normally quiet this is loud and sometimes can be heard if you’re listening to TV but it shuts itself off. Overall I love the unit and I think it’s wonderful I put it in my kitchen so that I do not have to have a bunch of cans and bottles of soda type stuff in my main refrigerator this way people can only have to go in here I have set up like a snack station or like a concierge lounge in my kitchen and it seems to go over well I would buy it again maybe it needs some WD-40 :-) but no not I am enjoying it and appreciate that it is so compact overall. It was a good purchase and I am not disappointed
