Val: I use this before I vacuum and after just to make sure I get all the fur/hair out of my carpets. It is a bit of a pain to use on large amounts of carpet, so it is ideal for smaller carpet areas/rugs. Works very well to remove fur and hair that a vacuum wouldn't pick up.

DMarVel: I saw this advertised on my newsfeed, and the images were honestly so satisfying that it prompted me to look it up here. I will begin by saying that it works just like in the ad! It's mind blowing how effective it is at removing pet hair from carpeted surfaces. It is also very well valued considering the price/utility.

Unfortunately, we tried using this on some clothes, but for the most part it was unusable. It even snagged a dress because the fabric was too fine. I would say that the usability of this is dependent on the type of material that is being used. The other thing is that while this works great on carpet, I much rather use my vacuum... While would I bother being on my needs for 30 minutes doing my living room area when I can do it in 2? Oh yeah I forgot... because it is extremely satisfying to use!

Mccwho: This thing works good on animals but not as good as a "Furminator". I strong do not recommend this for use on fabrics. It is far too rough on fabrics it will eventually destroy them. I tried it on a blue smooth blanket and lightly ran it over the surface. It got the hair, but it also started pulling blue fibers from the blanket. I could see if you used this too much you would destroy any surface. It has a lot of friction and feels like it is cutting into the fabric. I suggest using the good old tape roller. The roller got more hair up and does not damage the couch, blanket paints, etc. But using this on a cat or dog would be fine they like the feel of it on their back. But like I said the real “Furminator" does a better job of removing hair from the animal. It also is easier to remove the hair from it as it groups the hair into a tight wade. This thing cleans up ok, but the hair is lose and easily float away while you’re trying to remove it.

Merry: It never occurred to me that carpet-- like any textile-- could pill with use; I thought there was something uniquely wrong with me, my cats, my carpet, and my vacuum cleaner. I literally used to buy a new vacuum every year because it would choke on what I now know to be pilled carpet+cat hair. This little tool-- the best $9 I've ever spent in my life-- is incredible!!!! You just scrape it against your carpet, and it gathers the hair and carpet pills in a big fluffy disgusting pile that you can just put in the garbage can.

This is such a game changer. After scraping the carpet with this (it's addictive to do; takes very little time to do an entire room-- great chore for a kid, if you needed an idea), I could actually vacuum again! And not kill my vacuum cleaner!!! If you have carpet, you NEED this thing. (If you have carpet, get rid of your carpet lol it's really gross.)
