online shopper: hard to find a knee length jean skirt any more.....this one has really nice details-I did order up first time and it was huge-I went down 2 sizes and it is fine. amazon has a great return policy on this item and also the new skirt shipped very quickly (I bought the light denm color)

M. Jacobs: Darling and a great a-line. The front is NOT decorative and can completely open. You can see into the skirt if it gapes or moves in just the right way. NOT CUTE
I took thread and needle, stitching along the button band so that it wouldn’t peek open. Now it’s fine. They should really stitch it closed and make the buttons decorative!

Anonymouse: The skirt is flattering, stylish, well priced. Really it’s perfect except for one thing: I found the inside of the bottom hem to hurt my bare skin. I don’t know what’s there, but the material is hard and scratchy in that area, and when it rubs against my knee area, it hurts. It will be fine when I wear it with tights or leggings underneath. And I’ll see if I can do anything about the hem in the meantime. Maybe it softens after a couple of washes.

Valerie Tremblay: Very happy with the skirt but it is made small I have a Jean skirt size 10 and this one is a large and it is a little tight.

S. Virginia: I like the skirt, comfy and cool when I wanted to look western. The hem is funny though, after washing it wants to curl up so I had to really iron it to get it flat. Might have to re-do the hem. Not a problem.

Karen Hudson: Fits true to size. Beautiful colour. Fits and looks great. My only complaint is as others have said, the hem rolls up. Easy to fix with an iron, worth the hassle.

NG9NG9: I went by the other reviews and bought a size medium instead of small. It fits very well before washing - hope that holds true after I wash it.
The shiny buttons are a bit prominent - would have referred an antique finish. That said, it's a flattering fit. HOWEVER .... The model's hand is covering the right front pocket, so I can't tell if the pocket on mine is a mistake, or if it's meant to have a kind of bow decoration on it, made with a pucker of material and a couple of stitches. I asked the question of people who have purchased the skirt, but so far no one has answered. It's very noticeable, so if it's a mistake in sewing, I'd like to return it and get a new one. I've attached photos of both pockets in my review. I bought the dark denim.
