Lman: I needed to do something...the A/V equipment in the conference rooms where I work is constantly having issues. I got tired of screaming on Teams calls just so people could barely hear me. I purchased this unit hoping I could keep it on hand and switch to it whenever the equipment was not working.

Well, I've used it about four times now in two weeks. First was in a medium sized room (table for 6) and it worked great. I like that you can see the little light indicate what side it is picking up sound on. I then used it in a large room that seats about 16 and thought it was going to struggle but it did very well. Finally, I've used it a few other times in smaller settings.

One note that may help-it seems you must install the Ankerwork app for the device to be recognized by your bluetooth. I had already done this on my iPad and it picks right up. However, I tried to pair it with some work computers where I'm not allowed to download any apps and they didn't see the unit when bluetooth pairing was on. So, if that is a necessity for you then keep in mind. There is a way to attach it via USB but I have not tried it.

Alan S.: This has been a great upgrade to my WFH setup. Not having to deal with bluetooth connections or wear headphones during calls has been a nice improvement. The Anker PowerConf S3 sits about 0.5 meters away from me with clear audio and no complaints that I can't be heard clearly.

Speed of connection was another welcomed surprise. I use the Anker PowerConf S3 with my work laptop and a personal PC with no speakers that sits beside it. I often forget to plug in the speakerphone to my work laptop before starting a call. After connecting the USB-C cable it takes about 1-2 sec for google meet to pick it up and switch audio devices on its own.

John Kelly: I bought a HomePod mini to use as a phone speaker and it was rubbish. This works perfectly. Plugged into my MacBook it automatically connects as a speaker for the laptop. After pairing with Bluetooth it also acts as a speaker for my iPhone for podcasts, music or calls. The sound of good enough for calls and podcasts but probably not up to standard for music if you are really into your music.

StephS: This little device is amazing. I work from home with my laptop docked under my desk. I got tired of wearing headphones with a mic but it’s so important that people can hear me clearly on Teams calls. I’m connected via USB to my docking station. Calls are super clear. After listening to recorded calls, I sound like I’m in the same room with other people on the call and typing/mouse noises cannot be heard (the microphone is right above my keyboard). Further, I love the mute button as opposed to muting myself on teams - it’s faster and I appear more attentive in teams :D. This is a game changer.

Jason Signor: This is a very nice product. Anker makes good products. However, after testing a variety of options with a caller, the caller said there was not much difference between my iPhone speakerphone and the Anker. So, for me, because I am using this just for myself, it is not really a gain. For a multi-person conference, however, this likely would be a nice product.

After testing, I found the following, in order of best sound quality to worst: (1) Apple Airpods Max using iPhone, and using desktop computer Bluetooth, (2) iPhone speakerphone and Anker speakerphone; (3) my Yealink VOIP desktop phone using its handset and its speaker; (4) webcam via desktop (an older Logitech cam). So, as you can see the Anker is a good choice over some other alternatives. But it just wasn't much of a gain in functionality and sound quality for me, for now, for my current situation.

One caveat but not a big deal is that I could not get the AnkerWorks app to recognize the device. However, I do not really see a need for the app, as I was able to connect to my iPhone's Bluetooth without it.

My grade for this product is A-.

Adheli Tavares: I was looking for a device to bring to office days when some of our team mates are not in office and this was brilliant! Very clear sound, no echoes and really nice if I just want to listen to music when at home office.

The customer service proactively talked to me and helped to resolve the issue. They offer a new replacement to my old unit, the new unit works well so far.

For this, I'm willing to change my review score from 1 to 4 because they actually solve the issue after warranty, despite the previous unit experience is not so good.

Anker has been make some bad quality products for a while and this one is a new record.

Spent 100+ USD and get this conference call deskphone s3 broken used less than 3 times.

I'm surprised Amazon allow this kind of bad product just keep on selling on the internet.

Even I'm getting a lemon, 18 months warranty isn't the firm reason you should use to attack your customer that willing to trust your quality.

Amazon and Anker are both failed much in this event.

Gabriele Fabbri: Ottimo prodotto, robusto e ben costruito. I microfoni integrati funzionano bene, i feedback degli interlocutori durante le chiamate sono sempre positivi (mi sentono bene insomma). L'altoparlante è ottimo e il volume è oltre le mie aspettative, tanto che lo uso anche per avere musica in sottofondo mentre lavoro. Non do 5 stelle per due motivi: il pulsante on/off mi risulta un po' scomodo da premere e, soprattutto, il prezzo è a mio avviso un po' eccessivo... però la qualità c'è ed è anche bluetooth. Nel complesso lo consiglio sicuramente.

Eduardo Castro Barba: Lo hemos empleado para nuestras reuniones de trabajo telefónicas y su rendimiento es excelente (sala de reuniones de 8-10 personas, con el dispositivo en el centro de la mesa y 3-4 personas conectadas por teléfono, vía bluetooth). Antes hacíamos las reuniones con un teléfono móvil en el centro de la mesa, y era un sufrimiento, ya que había que moverlo de un lado a otro de la mesa para que las personas conectadas pudieran oir algo. Ahora no hay que moverlo, y se oye bien a todos los que están en la reunión.
Lo he probado también para reunión por Teams con el ordenador y ha ido perfecto. El ordenador lo ha reconocido sin ningún problema.
La conectividad y funcionamiento son muy intuitivos.
En definitiva, muy recomendable.
