ANERZA Pencil Grips: Ergonomic Pencil Holders for Kids Handwriting and Writing Assistance

TINZ.FAM: I'm on the fence about this. Purchased it with the intent to have my preschooler and 10 year old use them to be able to hold a pencil more correctly so they can have more steady writing and just learn to hold a pencil more properly. It does not come with any form of instructions. Not even which is the front or back or how to actually place it so your fingers are in the correct area on the pencil/crayon. So if you know nothing prior about finger placements or the importance of it, then your screwed from the start because the finger grips can be placed too high or too low very easily. Also what are those little character things that came with them? They look like pencil toppers/erasers but they are not and have these small clips on them. They don't even explain what they are in the package. What if you gave this as a gift to someone, they would have not a clue with no information included. I hope I am teaching my kids the correct placement because if not what's the point of this product?

Bree M: I actually purchased these for myself to help retrain my muscles while learning how to write again. I suffer from Radial Nerve Palsy and lost function of my dominant hand and all feeling in my thumb and first two fingers. These grips were a huge help in keeping proper finger placement to assist in regaining muscle strength. I am on the smaller side for an adult and they fit my fingers just fine. These would be great for kids learning to write or for anyone with disabilities needing assistance. The animals are a super cute addition as well!

Jessica: Maybe 6 months ago, I decided that I wanted to fix the way I hold pens and pencils. I stuck them on one of each that I frequently use at my desk and I see an improvement! I wasn't super strict about using them or actively thinking about it, but the other day I realized I was holding it the right way even tho I left these at school a few months ago. At first, it was kind of uncomfortable (not because my hand didn't fit) but I guess I got used to it without noticing. It's a perfect reminder.

Jennifer Hinson: Due to the pandemic, I found myself homeschooling a kindergartener since I didn’t see how he could learn through a virtual classroom like his older siblings (since Kindergarten is more hands on learning). One of the biggest obstacles we came upon was the way he held his pencil, yet I couldn’t figure out for the life of me how to “show” or teach him the correct way to hold it. That’s when I found these....

It took a little getting used to for both of us, but it took him 2-3 days of using one of these to not need it anymore while still maintaining the correct pencil holding technique. However, he asks for one of these every now and again bc he said it’s more comfy to write with this on the pencil than without (it acts as a cushion of sorts as well).

Because I had so much success with him, I decided to let me older kids (14 & 10) use them as well......I realized they weren’t taught the correct way to hold their pencil either and it helped both of them as well! So this is perfect for all ages!

If you are thinking about this or think it could help in the future, go ahead and spend the $6....trust me when I say it has saved a lot of time and...

Autumn Taylor: I got these to help my child learn to use a pencil. He is 6 with Autism and these are difficult for him to understand but that's part of the learning process. So far they seem strong but I have not fully started using them yet I got them for school which starts up soon here. The Little animals are cute but they distract my child and he don't want to learn how to use the grip so I put them away. So far i'm Satisfied I cant make a proper review until I've used them long term. The Owners wanted me to write something so this is what i'm writing.
