I had purchased this book after I had already started to use a PMI authorized trainer thinking it would prepare me more. Honestly, this book and these videos were exactly what I was looking for and actually explains everything. The PMI authorized trainer feels like a waste of time compared to this because I didn't feel like I learned any fundamentals like I did from just watching a few of the videos. Worst part is that I didn't even tap into the videos until having the book for a while and I wish I would have! The videos provide simple, straightforward teaching of what you should expect on the exam and I wish I had studied with this from the start. I highly recommend this book!!!

I took a monthly subscription course for the 35 hours training. $500 and 50 hrs later, still don’t understand PMP. Bought this book a while ago and finally decided to use it. I read one chapter every night until I completed the 14 chapters. I reviewed all chapters again on Saturday, did the practice exam on Sunday morning and took the exam on Sunday afternoon. Passed the exam with the first try! This is a very comprehensive book and allow PMP to make sense and not just dry materials. Great book! Plus, the 35 training is included in the book. Wish I bought it earlier!

I bought this book, read it cover to cover and passed my PMP exam 3 days ago on the first try. It’s an easy read and so easy to understand. There are mini quizzes at the end of each chapter and a sample mock exam at the end of the book. The key is to not memorise the content but understand it so you can apply it to real life situations. I supplemented this book with Andrew Ramdayal’s Udemy course and honestly that’s all I needed to pass the exam.

This book was a great help, thanks to this material, I was able to pass my PMP at the first try. The author Andrew Ramdayal is a great teacher : I was so stressed and so discouraged with the PMP exam, the books and the videos gave me a motivation to work. Now PMBOK has much more sense for me, this book helps you a lot to pass the exam, but also to deep dive your project management skills.
If you wish to study PMP and ensure you pass you pass your exam, and become a better project manager, definitely buy this book.

If you decide to choose Andrew Ramdayal's book, you benefit from the 35 hours course which covers, at great length, all your need to know to pass your exam. The teaching experience is delightful. The pace is steady, the voice is pleasant, the content is explained in full detail; all you need to do is pay attention because he provides all the information you need to pass the test with flying colors.
I am currently attending a Master's Program in which we have covered the Waterfall Method of Project Management, and I wished my teacher had covered the content in a similar manner and at such depth.

Some of the headers and subheaders also do not have the correct hierarchy (e.g., using the same font size and indentation for a header and subheader, making them appear equal when in fact the subheader should be considered to fall under the header).
I had to take a break from reading this book because the sloppy editing was frustrating. But once you get past that, the content really is helpful in studying for the PMP exam.
