Anomaly 70: Hey, I normally love Amy's and have bought lots of their products over the years, often weekly. This was probably a manufacturing fluke, but there was almost no cheese at all in my cheese enchilada (I think there was a tiny bit in one end) and that's the part I look forward to the most! Disappointed and curious--'cause I've had lots of this particular frozen meal--I opened the enchilada to see what was inside and it was just a gummy empty tortilla! I would have written the company, except that I did eat it. I mean, it was my dinner, and otherwise it tasted normal. As Judge Judy says, "If you eat the steak, you pay for the steak." Also, I had written the company a few months ago about their chili, as I found a piece of something like plastic that was definitely not food in the chili. In that case, I did NOT finish my supper, and they were kind enough to send me some coupons. So I didn't write about this one because I did not want to be labeled a chronic complainer or someone trying to rip them off. Maybe the no-cheese cheese enchilada was just one of those manufacturing flukes; it happens. Or maybe something is happening that is reducing their quality control. I will continue to...

Pamela: I've been eating Amy's frozen meals for quite a number of years. In fact, I remember when they could be purchased for about $3. For the portions, that's about right to my way of thinking. I mean we're not talking caviar or steak. It's beans, corn and cheese!! And as much as I love the flavor profile, I must sadly draw the line at $5 for a tiny tray of food about the size of a 'happy meal'. Besides, it's time I pulled out my pots and pans to cook my own beans, corn & cheese enchiladas! Of course, the Indian meals will be a little more challenging to make. C'est la vie!!
