El Hispano: Bueno si buscáis un protector de encimera para proteger de la humedad de los cubiertos platos y demás e lo ideal. Aísla perfectamente la humedad y protege tu encimera. El material del que está fabricado el tapete está bastante bien y su grosor también es de bastante buena calidad indudable. El tamaño que buscaba era perfecto y no se dobla ni se arruga debido a su robustez de fabricación. Me sorprendió también como algo con tan buena calidad me costó tan económico. Motivo por el que no le pongo 5 estrellas no es válido para escurrir y dejar los platos con demasiada agua por qué si no se forma charcos en el tapete de silicona recomiendo colocar un tapete de tela encima del de silicona para absorber dicha agua o bien secar los platos y cubiertos antes de dejarlos sobre el tapete. En mi caso tengo un tapete de tela encima pero es más pequeño que el de silicona y en ocasiones se forman charcos de agua que tengo que ir limpiando. Pero lo mejor y os podéis quedar tranquilo que esos charcos de agua no transpira a la encimera y la protege perfectamente. En general el tapete es de buena calidad y se lo que quereises proteger la encimera frente a la humedad este es el ideal....

NutsForGoo: We initially bought this as a dog mat for in front of their water bowl. The dogs didn't seem to like stepping on it because of the raised nodules. So now we use it as a drying mat next to the sink. Works well for that - but you still need to clean it regularly.

Mike B: I have been putting dishes on a dishtowel or drying pad for years. The towels stay wet and the dishes never really dry. Then I found this on sale and figured I'd give it a try.

Things thing is great. I'm never going back. The built-in ridges makes sure that everything you put on it drains and drys well. It works especially great for wine glasses - I don't have to worry about them falling over like I did when I used a drying pad. A true life-changer!

Dan: I'm not convinced it's actually good for drying dishes out by itself (it would probably take ages and leave calcium/stains on the mat) but it works very well as cheap, general countertop protection with heat/spills etc as it's easy to wash.

Worth bearing in mind the relatively dark colour though, particularly if you get multiple in a row as they may make the kitchen feel more cramped depending on your lighting/colour of other furniture.
