My 69-year-old sister couldn't get it assembled. A month or two later when I visited, it took me 10 minutes. Make of that what you will, but I've been an engineer for 40+ years, so of course it wasn't difficult for me. For the price, the chair is a good value. Pretty comfortable, not great, but not bad either. Compared to my $600 chair, the Amazon basics chair is well worth the money. Ergonomics isn't as good, build quality isn't as good, and vinyl instead of fabric (replacing an old leather one, which only lasted 10 years). That said, you get more than what you paid for with this chair, and it's reasonably comfortable.

We purchased this chair in Black Friday deal. It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The chair is very comfortable and functional fit to the purpose of working at home. Although cheap, it is of high quality and we liked this Amazon basics product.

Good chair, and assembled exactly as pictured. It was a bit of trouble attaching both cushions, but it's worth it in the long run. Good height adjustments as well. I would recommend it.

I was a little worried about buying this due to the negative reviews but realized they were all mostly around assembly. If you "loose" fit all the bolts and use your fingers to get them started, there is absolutely no issues putting this together (if you can't get them started by hand then you've cross threaded them so stop and attempt again). It took me about 10 minutes total. There we some complaints about the back being too hard but I didn't experience this and found it comfortable. I'm using a mesh lumbar support anyway to ensure I keep good posture as well as keep good airflow around my back. My biggest plus on this is the low profile of the armrest and that I can put myself at the correct height and the armrests will slide under my desk. For those wonder at the lowest seat level the height from the ground to top of the armrest is 26.5" and at the highest seat level, 30". Seat is very comfortable as well. Good job on this one Amazon!

I like the chair overall. Happy for the features and comfort relative to the price paid.
Having said that there are two things I’m not happy with:
1) the bolt holes that secure the arm rest to the right side of the seat were not drilled / created properly; I had to spend a lot of time and effort getting the bolts in to the holes on the seat; I tried out 3 to 4 different bolts so I know the issue is with the pre drilled holes and not the bolts themselves; disappointed with quality control on this; had to use washers to compensate and get the handles tight enough on the right side so it would not wobble
2) I don’t like that the parts are shipped in the cavity of the back rest; I think this will lead to either premature wear or back fatigue so I’m going to buy an inexpensive pillow to stuff in the open space.

1. No creo que sea para personas muy grandes, por que sólo mide 60cm de ancho con todo y brazos para que lo tomen en cuenta.
2.La postura es muy buena, mi espalda queda totalmente recta y es cómoda a pesar de usarla varias horas seguidas.
3. Los brazos están un poco más abajo de lo normal por lo que si buscas recargar los codos para trabajar al nivel de un escritorio puede que no te funcione tanto (a mi me queda Perfecto por que entra por completo debajo de la mesa y mis codos quedan sobre el escritorio).
4.Pesa 11 kg en la caja pero una vez armada es muy ligera.
5.Fue fácil de armar (la mayoría de las piezas vienen dentro del respaldo)
6.Creo que el terminado es bueno, se ve elegante y sobria.
7. Buena relación calidad/precio.
