With that being said, that’s why we switched to this brand, frontline plus really doesn’t work for us anymore. We’ve treated our yard twice, our 4 dogs are miserable & we’re miserable. Finally bought SERESTO, & in 2 hours (it states it kills in 24-48 hours), I can already see RELIEF for them! Yes, it’s expensive, up front, but considering it supposedly works up to NINE months, our dogs won’t be miserable & we won’t have a serious flea infestation, it’s WELL worth it!

mee412: Works better than the name brands. Those honestly never last more than 2 weeks. I noticed some scratching after about 3 weeks but it worked well until then. No bad reaction on sensitive skin. Definitely give this a shot before spending close to 100 dollars on Frontline. My boy weighs about 110 pounds if that makes any difference.

Kayla: We were looking for something to use on our puppy who was infested with fleas when we got her. At first this worked great, she didn’t seem to have any fleas so we were very pleased with the product. But the effects only lasted about 3 weeks and then she seemed to have fleas all over her once again. In the products defense, it does say “up to 30 days” but if I’m putting something like this on my dog to keep away fleas and it says to only apply every 30 days, I don’t want to have a week of lapse in protection. We did end up reapplying it a few days after the 3 week mark after reading other reviews and answered questions from others who had similar experiences. The results from the second application were lacking. The fleas might have diminished a little but were still very easy to spot and I don’t think I’m even going to bother using the 3rd dose. This product might be good as an added layer of protection but it’s not a good first line of defense in my opinion. It is a cheap alternative to other flea topical treatments though, so if someone was wanting to try it, I’d recommend using a flea shampoo first and then apply the topical and continue to be proactive with...

Tiffany Marksberry: I took my 2 dog's a bath with Dawm dish soap and it killed almost all of them . Then I used this to keep them from coming back . It helps a lot !!!! 10/10 definitely recommend!!! No need to spend hundreds when this works great it's been 3 days . I will update if anything changes but my dogs were scratching 24/7 they would stop eating and dig . Same when they were playing they would stop and dig !!!! I bought sevin for our yard to treat it but I haven't done that yet . It's been raining way to bad for that so we will see if this continues to work so far I love it !!!! A must try first

Jonathan: This product has the exactly the same active ingredients as the name brand. However, it feels like the medium in which the active ingredients are delivered, is different. When using the name brand, you will notice that the medication would coagulate when it dries, whereas this Amazon Basics product remains liquid. I am speculating that function in the name brand prevents it from running off the dog's body. Some reviewers commented that this Amazon Basics product is less effective than the name brand. I am thinking this is happening, because when the user fails to apply the entire medication on the dog's skin and some of it runs off -- effectively reducing the amount of medication that is on the dog's skin. If you take the time and care to apply it, so that all of it is actually on the dog's skin, there should not be a problem. Remember. The active ingredients are the same, which means, the only way this Amazon Basics product is less effective is if less of it makes it to the dog's skin. I will continue to use this Amazon Basics product, I will just have to be more careful in applying it on my dog.
