stephanie: i don't even like coffee ice cream...or coffee...or other coffee flavored things. but once in awhile my body goes haywire and i get strange cravings. i'm sure some of you can understand. and so i found myself buying this ice cream, and it really hit the spot. i feel like they shouldn't try to be fancy and just call this "coffee chip" because the coffee flavor is light and pleasant, but definitely not intense like you would imagine espresso to be. the chocolate chips are a good size (i hate chocolate chip ice cream that's nothing more than barely perceptible flecks) and flavorful. my only complaint is that it melts so fast. i put this in a chilled mug along with some of the happy belly chocolate ice cream, and the espresso chip was liquid in no time by comparison. easy to scoop, but eat fast!

Lisa: I have been on a kick of wanting Java Chip or coffee chip ice cream lately. I tried talenti and Haagen-Dazs and a few other brands. I was very disappointed, especially in the more expensive brands. I really expected to taste a very strong coffee taste and to have some good semi sweet chocolate chips in it, but was very disappointed in what I found. When I saw this on Amazon, I thought, what the heck, I might as well try it, and the cost was cheap. I could not believe it, when I tried it, because it tasted more like real coffee chip ice cream than even the most expensive brands I had tried. I never expected that. It had a really good coffee taste and good chunks of chocolate chips. This, by far, was the best coffee chip ice cream I had tried out of any of them.

Edgar: My husband is a huge “coffee flavored ice cream” kinda guy. The problem is…it’s almost impossible to find it at my local grocery stores without paying an arm and leg for a small pint that is eaten in 10 min. So my poor husband is often deprived of his beloved coffee flavored ice cream. One day I needed a few extra dollars worth of groceries for my Fresh delivery so I decided to look at the Amazon branded items. And there it was: Espresso Chip Ice Cream (insert glorious “ahhhs”) and it was cheap! Now, my husband is one of those who rarely compliments a store brand ice cream so I knew I was taking my chances here. The price was cheap enough that I wasn’t really going to lose much if he hated it. Y’all. He said this was one of the best espresso ice creams he has ever had. EVER. He doesn’t even know how cheap it is, haha! Wife win!
