Dry, disfigured, inconsistent shape. Not fluffy and rather bland tasting. I've had the same experience with the Happy Belly 12-pack 'Original' English muffins, as well.

Decided to give these a shot and I was very happy with the taste. I usually buy Thomas’s whole wheat and these match up pretty well. I’ve bought store brands that I have been extremely disappointed with. These don’t get the nooks like Thomas’s does but the texture was very good. For the price it’s well worth it.
