Kind: If you want to save money, it really wouldn't hurt to get this. The scent compared to the original JOHNSON'S® Baby Lotion is lighter, there is no apparent strong floral smell like jasmine (think about what a real bouquet smells like and how strong, deep, and "green" flowers can smell). It's light but not faint. There definitely is an enjoyable and innocent-like mostly powdery fragrance with very light floral notes in the very background. The two lotions definitely have different smells but they do belong in the same sphere. I can see someone who doesn't want to smell as strongly of flowers liking this. The scent is more refreshing and not heavy at all. It was also surprisingly moisturizing. Amazon basics products can be hit or miss as I believe the ingredients used are not good quality but it smells really good and I would buy both this and the Jonhsons original.
