Bonnie Smith: Nice towels. Yes, there is a lot of lint when you wash them the first couple of times. However, I just rinsed at first and discovered they were incredibly soft. However, not as absorbent until I washed them again with soap. They became slightly less soft (but still nice) and the absorbency increased substantially.

They are a good size, perfect for adults. And the fact you get two entire sets for the price, a great deal. The navy blue towels are exactly the color I imagined. They look great in our bath.

Janie: People when you buy 100% cotton towels they will shead. I washed mine twice before using to get the chemicals out. You need to wash alone so extra fluff get off the towels. These are a great mid weight towels. These towels are so soft and absorbent. Great investment. The size is good.

kgrozmn: Prior to buying these towels, I purchased some Amazon basic wash clothes which are heavenly - very thick, soft and wash well. I tried to get bath and hand towels to go with, but they were not available at the time. When I saw this set I jumped at the chance to buy them. Lo and behold, they are not the same quality. They are absorbent, but not very soft and are of average thickness. I use them, but am disappointed they weren’t like the wash clothes. They are as the name says, basic.

Kinsey: These are soft, well pigmented towels, and they are a great value; however, they shed like no other towel I have ever purchased. If the towels weren't such a great deal otherwise, I'd give them only 3 stars. The fuzz/shedding is, by far, the worst I've ever seen or experienced with any linens of any sort.
I have washed these 4-5 times already, and they still leave black fuzz everywhere. I hope they aren't like that forever, but at this point, I'm afraid they will be.
Especially noteworthy is, if you use contacts, you will find it impossible to dry your hands with these and then put in contacts without getting fuzz in your eyes... I mean, the fuzz gets and sticks everywhere, but in your eyes is especially problematic.
I can't say I'd recommend these towels, even though I'm giving them 4 stars, because I think the level of shedding with these towels is enough to deter me from recommending them.
