Rural Brewery Juror: As far as VGA cables go, this is certainly one of the thickest I've ever used. I don't know what effect that has on the cable's durability, but I can't imagine it would be bad. The connectors are fine, but I would've liked some beefier thumbscrews. These are a little difficult to turn and a flathead screwdriver doesn't like to stay in the slots, but that's not a big deal. If you're buying a weird cable like this, it's not like there's much choice and this is probably one of the best cables you'll find

BroggiFamily: Cable works as promised. HOWEVER, WORD OF CAUTION. Now I didn't know this, so I can't blame the cable but you can't convert a DVI-I to a DVI-D by simply removing the four prongs that surround the larger prong. Those four prongs carry the analog signal so it won't work. So if you have an application that needs DVI-D to VGA (such as with the lenovo thinkpad docking station to a VGA monitor), then this cable will not work.
