Steven R. Roth: A winner. Strong. Very attractive looking. Relatively easy to install with provided drilling template. All hardware and tool you need are provided. Very nice packaging in soft thick plastic to protect finish, even though the box is fairly robust. Regardless, they've all come through in perfect condition. Once installed (correctly), they're very sturdy, but I wouldn't recommend trying to use them as a handrail even if they're screwed into a stud due to the lightweight attachment to the mounting plate. All in all, highly recommended and a very good value.

T. R. Hamman: Fit and Finish uniform color with end caps snug against rod. Do not recommend using supplied screws and plastic inserts in drywall. Use 3/16 toggle bolts in drywall if direct mount to stud is not an option. You will be glad you did.
