JoeJoe: The media could not be loaded.  Product is nice and does what it’s intended but not the low tone I was hoping for and isn’t crazy loud either. Bought it for my truck hoping it would sound like a tug boat or something but it’s no different than a factory horn. Little overpriced for what it is. Would not recommend

Amazon Customer: This was the next best option to replace my original horn on my 248 Four Winns. Install was fairly straightforward and the package came with rubber feet which sat below the mounting plates. I’m not expecting this to last very long based on the price, but if it does, then great!

Tip: if you want flip the mounting bracket around you can. However, you will need to take the backing off as the nuts on the inside of the horn are extremely thin. The nuts will fall off if you try to take out the screws. There is a Phillips head screw behind the 12V sticker. Back the 6 screws in the front followed by the one in the back. This will give you access to the inside of the horn.

I’d recommend taking the backing off anyways so that you can feed your original wires through the housing so that the job looks professional. We kept as much wire as possible and coiled the wires inside the housing.

I definitely recommend checking out heat shrink butt connectors and heat shrink tubing. It might be an extra step but it should waterproof your wire connection.

Overall would buy again.

Julian D.: I purchased an air horn before this one. The quality of the structure, finish, and feel of this stainless horn is definitely HD worthy. The air horn felt like in needed a rubber bulb and a clown attached to it. This thing has a good sound too! It's not a train horn but it is certainly an improvement over the cow bell.

Another big plus is it responds well to polish. There is no worry of exposing copper flash plaiting. Speaking of "Flash", I found zero mold flash.

I have yet to do so but I think I can modify the included stainless bracket in a way that permits use of the cow bell engine mounted brkt.. Part of that mod will facilitate easy removal of the horn without fighting said brkt.. I'll forgo the supplied outrigger brkt. as the assembly is plenty robust on its own.

I'll circle back around and update if any problems arise but I feel confident all is well with this purchase.

Ron Rice: Nice finish. But only 3 bolts could be removed. The rest appear to be striped can’t rotate the base to realign wires with existing holes

Jeff: Great value and it is loud. If you know how to use tools and have the understanding of 12volt electrical systems. This install is easy but if you are not get someone to do it for you that is qualified. Electrical on a boat needs to be done properly or you may have a fire and that goes for anything electric.
