Timothy J. Hoekstra: These patches work great, are slightly larger than the little round joke ones, and come with a generous amount of rubber cement.

To use, scuff the tube with sand paper, apply thin film of cement, allow to dry, and only then apply a patch. Pound the patch with your fist, paying attention to the edges. Done.

They come in a large foil sheet and have a paper backing. Do not bother to remove the thin paper backing, it causes no issue and doesn't matter once it's in your tire. Trying to remove it will only peel up the edge of your patch job, and serves no purpose.

These patches are so good I even use them to patch holes in my tubeless tires. When I get home after using bacon strips, if I don't trust the field repair, I pop the tire off in that location, clean it with alcohol, allow it to dry, scuff with sandpaper and apply cement and a patch. I have repaired many tires this way and now accept "donated" tires my friends have given up on.

Finally used up all 48 patches and am coming back here for more!

Johnny Oracle: I had to fix several holes in my air mattress that over time it just starts to crack with holes. After two replaced mattresses, I had to find something else OTHER THAN SUPER GLUE THAT ONLY MAKES THE PROBLEM WORSE BECAUSE WHEN SUPERGLUE HARDENS, IT HAS EDGES THAT WILL JUST IN A FEW DAYS TEAR HOLES AND SLITS NEXT TO IT CAUSING MORE PROBLEMS. This patch kit is just what I needed. Although I could not find the last hole in my last mattress, and I was too lazy to fill it up at the swimming pool to find it, I tried this option. I was able to fix several holes. One side of the patch is sticky, and the other side has some strange wax paper that I could not remove so it is part of the design whatever I applied it to in this case a plastic air mattress. I would recommend this product for patch work because the glue lasts with needing just a little bit. I know it says to wait for the glue to dry before applying the patch, but I would cheat and let it dry about 90% then apply it. Seemed to be okay as it patched up my dozen holes. I mistakenly bought superglue and wasted alot of money on that. Again, I would recommend use for plastic air mattress repair.
