ALPS OutdoorZ Redwood -10°C Flannel Lined Sleeping Bag for Camping and Backpacking

I LOVE it! You know how hard it is to find quality flannel sheets? Look no further than the flannel lining in this sleeping bag. SOFT. COMFORTABLE. LUXURIOUS. I sleep like a baby. Just roomy enough. Just warm enough. And heavily padded the way I like. I just throw it on top of the bed. And you know how hard it is to roll up a sleeping bag and stuff it back in the bag? No bag needed with this sleeping bag. It comes with three straps that make bag cinching a breeze and carrying even easier. I take about 20 seconds, roll it up, and throw it in my car to transport. The reason I opted to buy a sleeping bag like this is so I could have consistent nights of sleep instead of sleeping on other people's beds that are not made up the way I like. I now look forward to getting cozy in my ALPS sleeping bag on overnight pet sitting trips.

KMc: Wouldn't want to carry it anywhere, but once in the tent it was like sleeping in a big comfy bed.
Sturdy and bulky, great for motorised camping-not hiking.

Amazon Customer: I’m 6’4” and if I wanted I could fit my head under the blanket if I wanted. If you are taller it has a second zipper to allow your feet to go out. It is very big when you roll it up but it doesn’t keep you too warm when it’s not -10 and it kept we warm when it needed. Very comfy and durable exterior make me believe I will have this for years. user111: This is a very comfy, warm, large, sturdy classic cool temp sleeping bag. It's not a stuffable backpacking bag, it's good to pack in the truck, camper, or other vehicle. The outside fabric is thick and somewhat rough, not in a bad way IMO, it won't easily rip. The inside is soft. The zippers are probably plastic material but seem sturdy, with pull tabs inside and out. 2 can be zipped together. 3 Straps are included and permanently attached. It's everything I recall from bags my family had growing up. My only gripe is no carry/store dust bag is included and it's been hard to find a large enough option. The large coughlin carry sacks barely work if you roll tightly at full width and work to stuff the end in.

Shannon: I ordered 6 of these, along with another brand's cotton sleeping bag liners (sheets) to put on large cots in a glamping tent. These absolutely surpass expectations for the price. They are large enough for a really big individual - my husband and I commented that maybe the two of us could fit it one and we're not small at 5'7" and 6' and average weights. The cotton canvas cover is medium weight, not the heaviest, but by no means thin or cheap; it has a solid durable, strong feel. The flannel lining is a pretty green plaid and super duper soft and cozy. I couldn't decide between the ALPS -25 bag or this one and glad I opted for the -10 as for 3 seasons it should be plenty warm enough. Heavy and warm feeling. With regular pajamas or long johns I expect this to be good to at least 10 above zero as rating are always more than what we actually experience with sleeping bags. Super satisfied with this purchase and recommend the bag. Not suitable for backpacking as it is heavy, but for car camping or providing an extra "bed" for guests this is perfect.

To be up front, we haven't used it camping yet, but I will update once I do. But, on initial impression and trying it out for 45 minutes at home, I'm impressed!!!
First - LOVE the material!!! We don't like about 90% of bags out there due to the "plasticy" (and loud) materials. This bag is all cloth - as you can see in the picture. I mean, maybe you can't see the cloth texture, but you can see that there is no sheen. The outside feels tough and a little like a smooth burlap - but not uncomfortable for the arms to rest on. The inside is flannel like - can't remember if it's flannel or cotton - but either way, it's soft and cozy and not loud.
Second - They can zip together. And they both have 2 zippers - so if it gets too warm (don't know yet if we will sometimes be to warm because, again, we haven't actually camped yet), you can choose to just unzip part of your side OR just the bottom of your side, or both, to ventilator. There is a small hole in the middle between where the two bags attach - but ALL bags that we've used have had that hole. With other bags, if it was too cold, we'd just stuff a blanket down at the...
