Robert Purcell: LIke it but it took awhile to set up - and had to take apart to get right fit

Dave.: The concept is great but on vinyl siding that is soft and pliable it does not work well at all. The bottom legs display not cover a large enough area to be stable.
If it was a solid surface or plywood applied under the legs it could work buy not on vinyl siding.

martin elmore: Now understand this is a real erector set to assemble and difficult to adjust but it is sturdy once done. Instructions are not real good.

Kimberly Jensen: You need to watch the YouTube video to be able to put it together well. The written instructions are not very well done. Functionally it's really good. I love that you don't have to drill into the window sill with this model.

TBrady: My first one came with missing hardware. So I returned it and ordered one more because it seemed like a quality product.
Second one came with proper hardware. Instructions were horrible. Partly my fault I suppose because I still like to read instructions..
All and all a good quality product.

Jeff Ekubor: The support was fairly easy to setup. Works as advertised and perfectly supports an average sized window air conditioner unit.

AndrewA: The hardest part about installing this bracket was drilling the holes - but that was because of how I installed it.
I wanted my AC unit "outside" of my window, so I could still shut the window. I did this by creating a plywood "baffle" that I could insert inside the recesses for the screen. I removed the screen, put the baffle in, then used putty tape to seal it up around the edges.
To mount the AC unit and bracket this way, meant I had to drill and mount the bracket on the outside brick/block "sill" of my window. So with some research, I settled on using some carbide bits to drill with, and special "blue" anchor screws. I quickly found that:
a) you want to drill the block "dry"
b) you want to periodically use canned air (or a compressor) to "blow out" the hole as it fills with dust
If you don't do those steps - you end up with the drill only going so far, then not going any further. So drill, blow out the hole, drill some more, etc - until you get to the depth needed.
But other than that difference, I followed the instructions just as they were written, and things went together really well and fast. I've had the bracket up for about 2 weeks...

S. Davis: I bought this because it claimed to be easy to install. It was worth the very high price to me because of the alleged ease of installation.
It wasn't that easy. This was made worse by the fact that some of the included hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, washers) was either missing or the incorrect size. This was a huge frustration. I managed to jerry rig the thing together despite the missing parts, but for the exorbitant price they are charging, I shouldn't have had to.
Also, they don't include any extra screws, nuts, bolts or washers. I dropped one of the screws that did work in the grass, and had to spend 15 minutes crawling around looking for it because the company is too cheap to throw in an extra screw, nut and bolt of each type, which costs them only a few cents each.
Once I cobbled it together, the final result looks nice, seems generally very sturdy (unless it fails at the location of the missing screws or too loose nuts), and as promised, did not require drilling. It fits in the window brilliantly, and the design is extremely clever and looks nice.
Bottom line, they really need to review their quality control so customers get the correct number...
