All-Natural Jumbo Pig Ears for Dogs by Pawstruck - A Healthy Treat!

theresa: I thought I would try buying these Pig Ears from Amazon instead of hopping in my car and getting them from my local Pet Store. Sadly disappointed in the quality of Amazon Pigs Ears. Yes, the description says they are made in the USA. The size of the ear is about half the size of the ones I buy locally. The ears don't have the same scent as my local ones. My dog of course isn't as fussy. She happily ran outside with her treat and devoured it in a couple of minutes. When I am spending almost $2 for a dog treat that will be consumed in under 5 minutes, size does matter. If I can buy a pig's ear that lasts 4-5 minutes locally, compared to Amazon's pig's ear that disappears in 2-3 minutes I am going to buy locally on this one. I will not be buying this item again.

j: please watch ur dogs bc they can choke from the peices. when it crunches. dont give this to them when u leave the house same with the pig noses they love them ill wait and see bc my dogs tend to get bored very easily. they are somewhat crunchy but after watching their chewy. these helped their teeth so much there all white all tarter is almost gone. so my dogs still like the ears but they give them the runs. the bag is empty, so i bought lamb ears to see if they handle it better, so they didnt touch the lamb ears had to return them very upset that they didnt like the lamb ear, bc the pig ears mess up their stomach so bad, idk what company to go to for pig ears. i want to give my dog a variety. and my cow nose all almost gone to. i want to get more stuff from this company so my dogs arent sick and bored with the same thing. one ear had to toss bc it had pig hair on it and there was sharp object in the ear, so look at the pig ears before giving them to your dog.

another update last bag i got was just to greasey ears with really messed up n i felt they werent safe for my dog, i opened the bag and i found to ears that will only the normal ones and i gave it to my dogs and they...

Farley: Used Pigs' Ears since they 1st came on the market. These are pretty good and as usual, a bit greasy...it's why dogs like them. But, WATCH YOUR DOG WHEN IT IS 3/4 CHEWED UP. My Aussie Shep. PUPPY, went through his 1st one within 3-4 hours! My last dog, smaller guy, used to get a couple days out of what we call them:"PIGGIES!"
I bought this brand because it is made in the USA & while I'm not sure of this, I'm assuming any part of the pig, should be USDA approved? Not sure tho' one brand I bought 6-7 yrs ago, made in China, was loaded with Salmonella bacteria. It may be the same with any Pig's parts e.g., Hooves & Snouts too. So be sure YOU OR YOUR CHILD DOES NOT HANDLE THESE &PUT HANDS IN MOUTH OR NOSE.
Otherwise, these seemed to be tasty as my pup made short work of the "Pig's Ear". I REMOVED it when it was 3/4 gone. Worry the dog would try to swallow it & choke.
