Chad R.: Every Alexander book is phenomenal and this one is no different. A great read for kids and doesn't miss a chance to teach an important massage.

Tyler: I had to use this book when I was working on my Masters in the Art of Teaching. My professor had us to use a children's book to teach a concept dealing with secondary students. My lesson was on savings. Using this book to teach that concept helped. Had to put this book in my library of books for teaching.

Jess: This is one of my kids favorite stories. There are only three books they ever all agree on and this is one of them. The illustrations keep them just as entertained as the story itself and they just love to say BUS TOKENS! 😂

Tarynne C: Great book that made for a fun math lesson.

Lindsey P: Bought this to use with the economics (saving vs spending) lesson for my first graders. They enjoyed this book and had some "ah-ha" moments when they realized the main character was quickly spending all his money. A great book for teaching this basic concept.

Sarah: As an English teacher, I have always enjoyed ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY book. When I saw that I could get this little gem as well, I jumped at the chance. It captures the hilarious elusiveness of money in the hands of kids (and many adults, as well). The book was shipped promptly (although it was delayed significantly in its arrival due to the Christmas season). The seller was extremely helpful and kind in making sure that I got my book---or else I was refunded. In the end, I was delighted to receive the book. It was in very good condition and yet was also very inexpensive.

Andi Gardner: My DS is 2. He loves Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and does ok with Alexander, Who's Not (Do You Hear Me? I Mean It!) Going to Move. However, this is his least favorite. I think that he doesn't understand the whole concept of having money, saving money, and earning more money. Plus, bus tokens are not something we use around here.

The book itself is a good read. The other two Alexander books are better, in my opinion. We do still read this one, but have to read the other two after it in order to be satisfied.

Mrs. A. Mclelland: my 9 year old son loves all the Alexander books. It started with Alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day which his grandma bought him and he found that he could really relate to the character (and not just the hair colour!)so I bought him Alexander, who used to be rich last Sunday and he was delighted! I would note that the money described in the book is american. it is fine for us because we are very familiar with american money as my family lives in america and we are always visiting but if that is something that would bother you don't buy this book, if it doesn't bother you though I would recommend this book.
