Jeffrey O'Connell: We purchased another set of candles from you, AKU TONPA Set of 9 Black Regular Textured Flameless Candles Battery Operated LED Real Wax Flickering Electric Candles. We loved the way the "flame" on these candles work. So when it was time to get new white candles we used your company again. However the flame on these candles are no where as "realistic" as our previous version and we couldn't tell in the picture that they were different.

micah: This is a great product at this price point. I needed LED candles for our wedding and I did a TON of research. I really wanted to buy the super-nice flameless flickering LEDs that you see, but our budget would not allow that $100+ price tag. These candles are excellent - they have the flickering feel of a real candle as well as a waxy outer layer that helps with the realism. Truth be told, no one could tell the difference/was paying attention to them at the wedding. They just help with the ambiance! Save yourself the money on the super expensive ones because these will do just fine. We still use them as decor on our mantle and they're perfect for setting the mood.

DC Reau: I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the quality of these candles. I expected the container the candles were in to be a thicker plastic, but they are glass - very lightweight too! Two modes of lighting as well - either solid or flickering. The timer is a great feature as well so they repeat the same process each day. The remote makes this process of turning them on and off smooth sailing as I have them in a difficult spot to constantly control

LynsBoiLynsBoi: The media could not be loaded.  These are beautiful candles! They have a wax like texture, almost like a bees wax candle. You can use them in candle mode - which is flickering flames or just the light. They are the better looking candles I've seen yet
I love the flame, they move and look so real. Each candle takes 2AA batteries, and the controller is cheap looking & comes with a watch type battery already in it. Converter works well though. They were very well packaged by the company. I love these and do believe I will be ordering another set. Can not beat the $, so why look for something better when it's right here!!

KBKB: I purchased two boxes of these since I wanted something safe for my apartment. I've been similar flickering candles in museums, so I was grateful to find something similar. The price is great and the resulting atmosphere is, well, it's just okay. I was struck by how terrible the quality control is, but I suppose you get what you pay for with these drop-shipped products.

PROS:

- Safe and flameless.
- Atmospherically, they do the job, as long as you're not looking for anything too bright.
- Battery life seems reasonable. I use rechargeable AA batteries.
- The remote is useful for difficult to reach areas, and has a timer function.
- Thankfully only one of the candle mechanisms makes a quiet clicking noise (as other reviews have noted), so I haven't found it too noticeable.

CONS:

- The wax had a colour variation between the two boxes. In the group photo, you can see where the front two candles are slightly lighter than the others.
- The wax is much darker than the photos suggest. I was hoping for something lighter. Personally, I would have liked white wax better than ivory, but I guess it's easier to control the colour this way.
