Aaron Sharp: Been using an older version of these for around 5 years now and since they finally broke, I finally replaced them. I love these headphones a lot. They sound great, have great surround sound, and are generally just a joy to use.

I have a big head, so for me personally, they are a bit tight but that’s just a me thing.

I also love how easily replaceable the cord is as I break headphone cords quite often lol

R.A. Hampton: They're tight on the ears, they get that loud. A couple db more would be nice. They're not bass heavy which may be their best point. And the sound kinda comes across muffled and canned. They're okay for listening pleasure to a good extent but you can't real get nuance so professional audio use is not really possible, unless you have a boost..and even then. They also pinch my ears. Suitable for smaller heads than mine. I've had better and cheaper headphones from AKG. I will not ever buy AKG again after this

go_eat_a_radish: Overall I really like these for comfort, aesthetic, and just listening to music or even podcasts. However, I need to be able to use them for audio recording and I can still hear everything happening around me as well as the speakers through the recording equipment. It probably wouldn't be as much of an issue with just listening to music because you can turn the music up more to compensate. I have to really concentrate to block out the outside sounds and it would have been cool if that weren't an issue. I suspect the extremely light (not dense) structure is part of the problem. That's the only reason these didn't get 5 stars.

I still really like them and certainly won't be returning them, but if anyone else was looking at these for audio recording type situations, be aware that you may be able to hear the people speaking both through the headphones and outside the headphones. So far it's not a dealbreaker for me, but it is definitely something to be aware of.

I HIGHLY recommend getting a hard case for them. These headphones feel really light and delicate. I'm also using a velcro strip to coil and shorten the cord a bit when the extra length is not needed, but I'm...

Sirena: First of all, I just received these earphones today, but I have been wearing them for a few hours. My last headphones met with a sudden casualty, but I wanted the new pair to be more comfortable on my ears, as my ears didn't fully fit in the ear cups and were pressed between the headphones and my head = discomfort. The previous headphones were OneOdio Adapter-Free Closed Back Over-Ear DJ Stereo Monitor Headphones, Professional Studio Monitor & Mixing, Telescopic Arms with Scale, Newest 50mm and as I said, uncomfortable after a period of time so I didn't want to reorder them (they did sound nice, however). I am a small female and if my ears didn't fit, I would guess the average man would have a real problem.
I run an Airbnb out of the second floor of my house and wear the headphones for 8+ hours a day to maintain quiet for guests, so my criteria was comfort, and these seem to really deliver. I want to reiterate that my ears actually fit inside the open circle area of the ear cup of the headphones, with no crushing effect, so over time there is no discomfort. I cannot say if a larger person's ears would be fully inside the cups or not, but the circular interior is...

Marcosoax: Antes quiero aclarar, que la calificación es baja debido a que no preste atención antes de la compra, ya que no vi que eran semi-abiertos y no cerrados, por lo que se pierde algo de sonido, ademas de que el cable es muy largo (3.0 m), su diseño es muy bonito, su sonido es claro, recomendable para aquellos que se dediquen a la música o tocar tu guitarra y aislarte un poco, lo malo es que transmites tu música a los que se encuentran a tu alrededor, me gustaron por su comodidad y calidad de sonido.

gillian.reynolds5gillian.reynolds5: I bought the AKG M220 headphones for myself a couple of months ago with some money I got for Christmas. So I've had them for a couple of months now and thought I would give them a pretty thorough review.
These are by far the best headphones I've ever owned. So I'll split up how I rate them into three categories.

1.) Structure 3.5/5: Before I get into anything to do with sound, I'm gonna talk about the actual headphones. The build on these headphones is pretty decent. Although it would be smart to have these in a case wherever you go, these are built pretty well. I would say, this is the weakest point of these headphones. The headband is a softer plastic that molds to your head shape and automatically fits to your head, now that's something that I love. However the plastic on the actual headphones seems pretty weak, hence the reason to pack them in a case. The ear cups are alright, they're comfortable and allow for long periods of listening, which is great for traveling or playing video games. I have a small tear in mine, but they're removable, and you can purchase a new set of much nicer ones(for the more top-of-the-line AKG headphones) for around $10. I personally...
