Gwyneth Jones: This was really easy to install, it took me about 10 minutes, including cleaning the window time. So far it's working great, a heck of a lot better than the cardboard I stuck up in the window with a hole in it. I'll definitely be ordering another.

Nathan Lyman: Works quite well for casement windows. Did the job that’s needed. After two years the tape stickiness is gone and it’s falling apart. I guess that’s all you can expect for a cheap product exposed to the elements. Expect this as a non-permanent solution (that would be plexiglass, but much more work)

Rachelle: Ok... It really DOES work. Takes thought process and time, but it works!
I have casement/crank out windows and a second story that's a furnace in the summer. It's getting warm, so I figured I'd hook up the portable ac unit I bought and this seemingly wonderful item.
I took this out of the pkg, flipped it every which way and put it back - telling myself there was NO way this was gonna work. I tried to use the metal window thing that came with the ac. Absolute bust. I got this thing back out, cranked the ensure open, put the hose through it and put it up to the window. It WORKS.
There's velcro along the entire vinyl already and it comes with probably 50-100 ft of velcro/sticky tape. If you start sticking the tape/velcro along the window frame and cut at each corner, put the hose/vent through it &put that where you want it, choose the window vase far as you want it closed & then start sealing the window up. You'll see that you need to put some velcro/tape on the window and on the vinyl to hook it to itself to totally seal it, but it CAN BE DONE! With this, you can still see it the window too- unlike plastic or cardboard.

alex: Sticky tape doesn’t stay stuck to window frame so I constantly need to put it back on or have resorted to duct tape. May be due to the sun being on my window all day. But still very disappointed.

Bit of a pain to sort out putting on the window.

Jason Huang: I have installed this product recently because I have casement window (the one that you have to push out, not up and down). This is good quality material that is easy to install around the window frame and the window. Then you just velcro stick that air seal in between the window and the frame. I like the zipper that goes snugly around the hose with no space in between that allow bugs or element to get in. I did not like the instruction that comes with it, but it's easy enough to install without reading it.

Also like the vendor they're great at customer service and quick to respond to your questions.

As of this review, I'm buying a second one for my 2nd portable AC unit.
