MG: La cosa piu’ importante e’ regolare la linguetta sotto il piede… se troppo stretta puo’ causare problemi di compressione, meglio larga e poi chiudere bene i velcri, lla funzionalita’ e’ data dalla stabilita’ non dalla compressione… con caviglia gonfia consiglio le calze a compressione graduata, ma questo prodotto e’ validissimo!

Amazon customer: Useless. Doesn’t provide any support around the ankle. Perhaps it’s that it’s not sized properly for one size fits all but the design seems strange that there is no strap or support down closer to the ankle. Recovering tibia surgery and was done with walking boot but needed support still. Would buy recommend

JanetJanet: My doctor actually pulled this brace up on Amazon and told me that this is what I needed for my ankle to keep it from moving around for a while. I’ve been wearing it for 3 weeks. It is exactly what I needed. Great quality, much more comfortable that the lace up unit that I was trying to wear before. This will actually fit in most of my shoes. I highly recommend it!

M and D: Severely rolled my ankle and my dr just said wrap with an ace bandage. I was still getting terrible pains to I talked to my physical therapist who recommended this brace instead. The support is great and really helped my healing process vs that damn ace bandage. Definitely need to wear a long sock of leggings since the plastic doesn’t feel great on bare skin throughout the day.

embe_3: I got a grade 2 sprain in one ankle, and the folks at urgent care gave me a splint exactly like this, but lower quality. It worked well to support my ankle while allowing movement - exactly the recommendation for a grade 2 sprain from leading medical groups - but the old splint wasn't made to last. After a week, it started falling apart.

I technically don't need to be in a splint after 2 weeks, but given my past experience with a similar grade sprain in my wrist, I knew there would be times when I'd want more protection or days when I'd tweak it and need more support.

I wish I'd ordered this splint sooner!! It is so much better than my old one. The velcro is higher quality, the velcro tabs on the splint are attached better, the plastic is a higher grade, and the vinyl for the air cushion is thicker (better). I'm glad I have this splint as my long term, as-needed support. It was a great purchase!
