Connie N.: Saw someone review a cheaper version of this type of eraser, that used AA batteries. UGH! No. Found this rechargeable and decided to give it a go. Was pleasantly surprised. Fits well in my hand, reacts with a light touch. It has the potential to make SO much difference in my artwork. It creates light areas in pencil drawings, with ease. Didn't know I needed it until now. Now can't imagine not having it!

Tommy Ellis: I have been drawing and removing what I've drawn the same way since I was in school back in the dark ages. I was taught traditional methods and didn't look beyond them until I decided to start using colored pencils and pastels.

I am also a believer in finding and using good tools to make my work better and this is one of those. Easy to use, easily removes thin layers, lines or areas.

Shondra Thomas: I'm a big believer in using an eraser as a tool for drawing, not just to get rid of "mistakes". It takes a little bit of time to learn to be steady with it, but it makes great marks for drawing. I can't believe it's taken me this long to discover it!

justme: When I first saw battery-powered erasers, I thought they were ridiculous. Once I ordered one, I was hooked. When used with a light touch, I seldom damage the paper surface. Using an old-fashioned, manual eraser, it's really easy to accidentally wrinkle--or down right tear--paper. That rarely happens now. I find it to be helpful for both writing longhand and adult coloring. They don't need charged very often. I'm guilty of blowing one up by dropping it on the concrete floor. To hopefully avoid a repeat performance, I cut a band of florescent duct tape and put it around the middle. An added bonus is that the florescent tape makes it easier to spot, if it rolls away, and is lurking in the shadows.

My one critique is that I wish the power button was concave (recessed). It's quite easy to accidentally turn on, if other objects bump it. While it be funny to witness the bewilderment of people who have not seen these before, in the wrong locations, the eraser could damage something (or get damaged).

I really love these Afmat erasers. As long as Afmat makes these, I probably won't try another brand. Highly recommended.

AB: I've filled several sketch books in my life and not once have I had an electric eraser. I didn't even know that was a thing! And I'm wondering why I've never been made privy to this absolute GEM of a tool before by my fellow art friends!!! All my life, I've oh so carefully erased..... and I've always had to redo parts where I didn't have an eraser "tiny enough" to get delicate small areas of my sketches. NO MORE! Not only does this get those Itty bitty detailed areas, it leaves behind NO TRACE of the offending lines that were the bane of my existence! (At least... as long as you drew it lightly). Wasnt expecting it, but this eraser comes fully charged. Also comes with a TON of eraser tips both tiny and still kinda small (which I'm sure I will blow thru because they seem to break apart fast but for how many there are initially, the understanding behind their intended purpose- its an eraser it's going to wear down fast, and for how well this works I'm OK with that!!) I love that there is a cap. I have not had any issues with the motor "bogging down" as other reviewers have stated (are those experiencing this like... jamming it down hard into the sketch pad? Brad: It comes with ample supply of eraser tips in 2 sizes, recharges quick and efficient, easy to use and fits well in hand. The button is touchy, if you're travelling around with it maybe find a snug spot it won't move in. A stand like a soldering iron stand would be useful for the desk or a kick stand on the product. But over all I've found it very effective, it halves the time I draw now and I wouldn't go back.

Said Oliveros: Es la primera vez que ocupo un borrador eléctrico y me ha gustado mucho, antes de utilizarlo no le veía mucho el sentido pero la verdad es que ayuda mucho en los trabajos artísticos, solo hay que agarrarle el modo de uso porque es un método nuevo y hay que hacer muchas pruebas para aprender bien los trucos para que te de los mejores resultados.

En cuanto al producto y el envío no me puedo quejar, venía con todos los aditamentos que decía la publicación, llegó un día después de la fecha especificada pero al parecer fue por un problema de la paquetera, aún así llegó en perfectas condiciones a pesar de ser un envío de importación, el material de construcción es bueno, se siente sólido y lo que más me gustó fue que tiene una batería interna que se carga mediante un cable micro usb, no es USB-c pero para mi no demerita en nada el producto, las instrucciones para el cambio de los repuestos de las gomas son sencillas, la calidad de las gomas de repuesto es buena, cumplen con su función aunque no sé si haya marcas mejores.

Le puse 4 estrellas en la categoría de relación calidad-precio porque se me hizo algo costoso, hay otros borradores eléctricos...
