Advenor Power Tower Dip Station - Pull Up Bar and Dip Stand for Home Gym Workouts

Philip Clapper: I'm one of those types who's into fitness because of both looking and feeling good, with the side benefit of keeping my overall body healthy. But I'm also one of those who's into bodyweight exercises, more because of the fact that there is a tremendous amount of bodyweight exercise plans that can be found online, and I don't have to spend a month's salary on things like barbells and other aspects that a true gym rat would be into.

Also, I've had a $40 door frame pull-up bar for about 6 months, and while I've been fortunate to go from being unable to do a full-on pull-up/chin-up to hitting a record of 40 in a row, even something like this bar is only getting me so far.

Enter the exercise tower concept.

Off the top, I didn't want to spend any more than about $150 on one of these things and was considering a basic "tower" that was running about $50 - $75. However, as I continued searching, I noticed that this lower price-point didn't really show pieces that appeared to be sturdy enough to take on serious workouts.

In seeing really great reviews for this ADVENOR model, I decided to purchase it.

TechWiseTechWise: This is a very well designed and very sturdy high quality dip station and pull up bar but I did not give it a five-star rating because I had to return the first shipment of this equipment because it was missing bolts and other parts and it appeared that it had been returned by another customer as everything was in disorder in the box and the pack of bolts was already opened and missing many from the pack. I had to get a replacement unit sent back out by Amazon and this was a lot of inconvenience because this unit is quite heavy. After I received the replacement unit and a small discount off the price, I began assembling it a few days later, only to find out that the two dip station handlebars were missing. This was very disappointing especially after I had to wait a long time for the first box with the missing parts and bolts to arrive and then I had to wait a few more weeks for the replacement to arrive. I contacted Advennor and they said it would ship me out the two missing dipstation bars in a few weeks, so they sent them out to me and I was able to complete the assembly of the unit which works excellent and I was very surprised when I received a refund for nearly the total...

CxxxCxxx: It comes with a complete package and it's kind of heavy too. It takes about 45 minutes to install for two people since it just mainly tighten all the screws. Just make sure follow the manual, it's not hard at all. It does occupied certain space in your house. I put it in my backyard.

I'm a big fan of calisthenics. Before I bought this tower, I always go to those parks that has pullup bar and dip bar to conduct my workout. Now with this tower, I can do my workout anytime I want. Besides that, the power tower is actually an all-in-one piece equipment to complete a full-body workout. For example, for the top bar, you can do different variations of pullups. You can also do hanging knee raises, windshield wipers, toes to bar,etc. If you are advanced, you can even do muscle ups and straight bar dips when you go up to the bar or you can adjust the level of height since it has 5 level height adjustment. For middle section, you can do knee raises, dips, L-sit, inverted rows, bicep curls,etc. Last but not least, the lower section, you can do some leg exercises like calf raise, hamstring curls, bulgarian split squats, assisted pistol squats, different kinds of pushups.
