Louque: Had to move out of my house after Hurricane Ida and rented an apartment from a friend - and one of my cats got out and stayed out long enough to pick up a flea or two. Once I got him back inside I noticed the fleas and used this product to get rid of them. Since I'm not yet back in my house, I treat both cats once a month and I haven't seen a flea since. Although expensive, it does work as advertised.

RLD Process / Documentation Consulting: My cats lived 22 years without a problem. So, naturally when we got Lilly, we use Advantage II during flea season. Lilly's a Bangle cat. She's big and strong so she can be hard to handle. She tolerates me applying each dose. I wouldn't say it's as easy to apply on her as with our other cats. The point is, it works. Thanks for asking!

pogshawn: Through lots of experience with several cats, I have tried Advantage, Frontline and Revolution. Each product does not work well on every cat. When I had two cats I had to use Advantage on one and Frontline on the other. I would recommend two months as a trial guideline: try the Advantage on a short-haired cat first and the Frontline on a long-haired cat first. I live in hot, South Carolina flea country and this Advantage II works great on my little sort-haired Buddy. It does seem to make him a little queasy on the first day of application. After one day the oil is dispersed and he is the household terror once again. During June, July and August the protection falls 5 days short of a month. Would I buy this again? Yes, with confidence.
