This lock is quite secure. I think it would be hard to break or cut. The difficulty is that there are times when it's hard to unlock it. The code is correct. I pull and pull and it doesn't come apart. Then all of a sudden it releases. I check the numbers; all are in a row. It makes me worried that some time it just won't unlock. I'm going to keep working with it and see if it loosens up.

I researched a lot of bike locks. It comes down to the basics - will it "deter" a bike thief, is it easy to use and does it fit well on the bike when I'm riding my bike and is it worth the price?
I've had things stolen - even with a "good lock." The cables are not going to stop any determined and prepared bike thief. Most cable bike locks only deter the "casual thief," they're not much of a match for a good pair of bolt cutters. That said, I still like having a cable lock - they tend to be easy to use and they're lighter than those big, HEAVY, "U" shaped metal ones.
When comparing cable locks - there's not really a big difference in them.
This lock is EASY to use and set. It coils really well and keeps itself compacted when it's in the smart lock-holder. The price is excellent - for a quality lock. This lock works exactly as I expected and you can't beat the price.

This product is exactly as advertised! This is a study bike lock, and it does not necessarily have to be used just to securely both your bike and your peace of mind.
My girlfriend made this purchase in order to secure a table we had purchased with the intent of setting it on the front porch/deck of our home to said deck in order to prevent theft by some of the less than friendly members of our community. Theft can be a problem from time to time where we live, and we wanted to do what we could to mitigate any issues.
This lock chain was long enough to be able to wrap up and around the underlining of the table from underneath on of the boards of the deck and then loop back around and down to be securely locked. There was still enough room to move the table slightly when needed.
This lock has brought my girlfriend peace of mind and has prevented the need to continually move the table in and out of our home.
A great product and a worthwhile purchase!

Exactly what I needed to replace old bike lock where the numbers had become unreadable. Nice clear digits, easy to set up your own code, stretches easily round bike and post.
May not withstand a concerted effort with bolt croppers but a great lock to use as a deterrent.
